The only reason he would gain a title quicker is because his account is at least 3 years old, the 'exalted' prefix means he hasn't recieved any bans/warnings in 3 years.

When enlightenment is the question. The Answer is Pain.
When Ignorance is the problem. The Answer is Blood.
When love is absent. Hatred fills the void.

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

I don't know why, but people who don't change their avatar tend to move up faster.

Any theory why?

I'm sure that is only a coincidence. There is no logical reason why your avatar would affect your trust rating.

I know, but I've watched a few people, like ^Zuma^, who change it almost everyday, and they haven't gone up. Other people who have been here shorter than I have, like you, that are at Heroic or Legendary, have rarely changed their avatar. It probably is just coincidence...

I don't believe avatars have any effect on user titles.

I dont think that is true i have had this avatar for a while now and i post often, i think it might just be a coincidence...because i dont see how an avatar would affect your trust rating.

The only logical thing I can think of for this is: x user has always had the Lightning Shield, and y user keeps changing theirs. You can always trust the Lightning shield. (c wat i did thar with teh trust?)

I wouldn't worry about your avatar to be honest, i don't think it would affect your title.

If you want to keep your avatar the same, pick something that makes users recognize that it is you. I see the bomb with a mustache and I think burrito. I see the Soffish and think Iggyhopper. It probably has nothing to do with trust points or "ranking" up, but it's a nice, unique thing.

Subject: FAQ on Bungie.net Member Titles

I found THIS OLD THREAD, it was quite helpful what Achronos posted although some of it could be different now ie the way the title are calculated!?

Wow my first post in this thread was page 34, long time ago lol

Technically, my ban history is 100% clean. =)

Looking at the priority list and I'm wondering, does that mean that "Intrepid" is better or higher than "Honorable"?

Yeah 'intrepid' is a higher prefix than 'honorable'.

Talk about a lot of information in this thread. This is my first time looking at anything more than the first post, and I gotta say that some of the theories out there may be somewhat close to how the system works. I don't know if this will help anyone or not but here is how my title has changed over the years. I started off as a heroic member, about six months ago it changed to noble legendary member, then when I logged in last night/this morning, it had changed again to exalted legendary member. I think the stuff saying that in order to get the exalted prefix is right on the money, the only reason I think that is because today is the start of my third year on Bungie. It would be one heck of a coincidence that my prefix just happened to change to exalted exactly on the three year mark for my account. I have never had any bans, or warnings. Like I said, I'm sure most don't really care about my title and such, but maybe this info could help with some of the theories out there.
