I doubt that creating topics would influence you title?!
Oh it definitely does. When i was on the border of member and heroic every time i would post a thread my title would shoot up to heroic. I did it multiple times, so it wasn't a coincidence. So long as you don't get banned, warned, or your thread gets locked, you should get a pretty big boost from posting a thread.

Although interesting food for thought, what if depending on what your previous ban was, you have to do something different to "rank up." Say you get banned for creating a spam thread, you would have to post regular threads without bans warnings etc. Now other factors would apply, but that would one of your primary ways of progressing. It could definitely explain why others progress faster than the norm. Just throwing some ideas out there so don't flame !

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

That sucks. I rarely have anything to discuss that is worth making a topic about, which means I almost never make a thread. No boost for me...

Like i said I'm just throwing ideas out there. Although you could rank up from other things (regular posting, activity, etc.). It is a curious thought though.

I doubt you get a 'pretty big boost' from creating a thread, if you did recieve anything i would say it would just be as much as a normal post!

Perhaps it's creating a thread combined with the number of responses the thread gets. Generally, good threads get a lot of responses (with some obvious exceptions).

I doubt your doubts. I would post in topics with no avail, but as soon as i posted a topic i would receive my title the following morn. You can doubt me, but I'm just pointing out my experiences.

I'm not saying your wrong by any means as no one really knows how it works, i use the word doubt because there is no evidence except personal experiences??

Right. I'm just posting what i think based on personal experience. I shouldn't have said it so assuredly. I apologize. It was just a small bit of speculation based on my time with the system.

I've been banned before. I let my immature side get the best of me. I have to work away all of those negative points. I'm guessing that I have another year or so until I get mythic.

Yeah same here, I regret being so stupid; I bet it'll take another few months or maybe even a year for legendary member.

You earned the Honorable pre-fix today. I got banned once for my friend being on my account. I am only 14 so about a year ago I was foolish back then.

Well, I was enjoying my Noble prefix. I've liked the look and sound of that more than most of the prefixes, and actually tried to keep my posting habits out of the "Intrepid range". I mean, it's apparently a higher-ranking prefix than Noble, but I still liked my previous prefix better.

Same. All intrepid means is that you post a lot. Not a very cool title. How does "Legendary member who posts a lot" sound for a title bar?

Anyways, tomorrow is the first. Let's see if there is another "boost"

*crosses fingers for Heroic back*
