If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Where do you find your PPD and other information?

Thanks. I ended up downloading the little script that shows it in your profile. I'm lazy, haha. And mine is very low :(

Reach MMO. Here's to hoping.

And the people that believe "the hardcore playlists would be more popular if the rules were strictly MLG" can come off it, now. If you're not willing to support something close to your own setup, there's no reason for us to believe that cloning our own lists and stripping the variety down will attract more people. -- Shishka, Bungie.net

WTF? Member join dates have little effect on the system, besides your prefix.

Edit: I should change this into a spreadsheet to filter the information by join date, bans, etc...

I would have to disagree. You are trying to explain a multi-layered system by only taking a look at one aspect of it through a very small sample size. There could be an abundant amount of reasons why your sample size didn't show a correlation between join dates and base titles.

This is very strange info that you have sampled, and it is completely in contradiction to the original post in many ways. I'm not sure the OP really has any idea or is even close to the reason people get promoted or demoted.

My case is a perfect example. I have been an active member for over 4 years! With zero bans/warnings. Heroic, by his definition, makes zero sense.

Also there is no rhyme or reason to my demotion as well.

Back up to Legendary...I'm still not seeing the connection.

There are different kinds of activity. Your "Exalted" prefix denotes that you haven't had bans and warnings, but bans and warnings don't decrease your title, they just add negative trust. When that negative trust goes away, you are returned to your previous trust and just start over from that point again.

Titles themselves, however, fluctuate based upon activity, if your gamertag is linked or unlinked, and age. But you must remember that there are different kinds of activity, and if you slack at one end of the spectrum, your title will remain low for quite some time. Your low point, in essence, is what I have been calling the "trust trigger" all along. It holds back title progression, like a huge weight dragging down otherwise strong areas. By "completing your trust trigger", as I have said in the past, you increase the activity you need to keep your spectrum balanced, and one end of it will not drag you down any longer.

That's a good answer.

Preferably Mythic. I know that I havent posted that much but I figured that once the bump came it should be atleast to Legendary.

The system works and takes time. You most likely will hit Legendary sooner than you think.

I got an exp ban back in August. Would that slow down the rate my prefix goes up?

Correct. Halo and BNet are two different things.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that a ban in Halo has no effect on your title. If you behave badly in Halo, then you're probably badly-behaving on the site, as well.

But if not, then all is well on the Bnet side. An EXP ban won't hurt you here unless you decide to go off and complain about it somewhere within the public forums.

And on another note, here's an interesting happening,(or at least I think so)-

My Internet went out Monday, and I hadn't posted again until today. That's around 3-4 days without posting, and my title hasn't changed at all. I've had times where I didn't post for a day due to being overly busy, and my title went back down to Heroic. I'm not complaining here, but I find it rather interesting that nothing changed over that course of 3 or so days.
