You can download a script that parses back through your recent posts page. It then does some math and bam! PPD.

Or you could do it yourself by figuring out how many days ago your first post on the recent post page was and dividing 300 by that day amount. Just a sec, I'll do it for you...
4/13/09-10/16/09=186 days
300 posts/186 days=1.61290322581 PPD

Thank you kindly. I was just a little confused because I thought we were talking PPD over the lifetime of the account. I never saw anywhere that gave you a total post count. Thanks.

It's too bad lengths of posts don't count, as the posts I produce are typically quite wordy.

That is all.

EDIT: Actually it isn't all. Technically speaking the priority order in the OP is wrong. Absent takes priority over every other prefix, above Exalted.

Now... that is all ;-)

I have been saying that since the begining
Before, because it was thought it ignored trust rating, it couldn't really have been considered part of the prefix priority order system (as it wasn't considered a true prefix).

The reason I pointed the error out is because we now have evidence that it is actually a prefix (although it has a massive negative trust influence) for the base title - we never used to think being a Absent [heroic, legendary, mythic] member was possible. With this new evidence it is certain it fits in with the priority order rather than being separate.

Long streaks without posting: This is where it gets strange. There were two periods where I was gone for awhile. I was missing for about 3-4 months from June to September of 2008. I was also missing from June to October 2009. I had a mythic membership back in January or so, then within 24 hours it was taken away for no reason. I never got it back until about a week ago when I just started posting again. And if you'll notice, my post count is low, but if you think that it counts from April to now and I was gone for five of those months, I was a very heavy poster. Anyway, hope this helps.

One day, when I was in a good mood and was browsing the Halo 3 Forum, Universe Forum, Flood Forum, and this forum very regularly, I posted 36 (or so) times in a single day on the publics alone, and at least 10 on the privates. That's the highest number of posts in a single day that I have made ever, and it is also much more than I was making per day at the time, which was around 7 or 8. At this time, I had just gotten my Mythic bar back (bah!).

The day following the posting spree, I awoke to find myself a Fabled Legendary Member. I was overjoyed that I finally got my sexy gray bar back, but I was curious as to why posting in the extreme might bring my title down. I thought about it at length, but didn't come up with anything. I posted a few times in the morning, then went away entirely and spent the rest of the day with my girlfriend. Returning home late at night, I checked Bnet, and wouldn't you know it; I was a Fabled Mythic Member once again.

I was scratching my head at this point, wondering what on Earth would provoke the system to shunt me to Legendary after a posting spree, then jump me back up to Mythic when I had only posted 6 or 7 times the following day. Then it occurred to me that the system might have shunted me down, at least for a day, under suspicion of violation.

My normal Post Per Day ratio, according to CAVX's script, is 10.344; before that day, it was at 9.344 or so. During the course of that day, my PPD value went up a full post, which is a very significant change. If the trust system caught sight of me posting much more frequently than I normally do, and in very high amounts at that, it might've begun to expect that I was spamming or trolling, doing something out of the ordinary in a negative way rather than a positive way. The system could've shunted me down so less people would take me seriously as the Mythic that I was beforehand, and then taken me back up the following day after no punishment came down on me. In essence, the system could've removed my title so the trolling or spamming that it suspected I was doing would be less effective, then when no official punishment came down and the system concluded that I did nothing wrong, it could've increased my title back to normal.

Something similar to this, which I posted about 30 pages back, just happened to me again. I posted about 15 posts, but all in a single thread in the Universe. I went down to Legendary for about 1 1/2 days, then was returned to Mythic today after I stopped posting in that thread.

I sounds far-fetched still, the whole "suspicion of violation" thing, but I'm really starting to wonder if something like this was built into the system. Perhaps not exactly similar, and perhaps with a different purpose, but with the same end results.

I think that sounds very likely. I shot down after my mythichood as well, but I have no clue why. I don't really fit into this category. But I certainly think your explanation of your situation makes sense.

Well, it now seems that that's not impossible, as thought before. If a member has been here long enough with a fairly clean history, I could see it happening. Although it looks like that won't happen for at least another few years.

It's relaive to other users. You must be on the bubble. It'll return. Since time helps with trust rating, eventually you'll stabilze.
