***There are currently around 12000 Heroic Members as of February 14, 2008.
***70000 members lost their "Heroic" status after a bug was fixed.

Is it just me, or does that math not work out? There should be a negative number of heroic members?

It says currently. That means that there would have been 82000 members during the bug, and 12000 post-bug.

this is one of the best ideas on the forums that I have seen in a long time. There is finally a way to tell, with some variation, how respectable some one is on the Bungie Forums. I'll be looking at this for a long time.

Hello.

Well, this also encourages members to act better on the forums. People like having a title, and they know that they will lose that title if they break the rules.

Just wanted to point that out.

Bull -blam!-, more and more people are learning that the titles mean nothing towards a person. I relized this when a "legendary" member advertised in the underground.

Actually, you will still see people who want to be good because of their title.

Believe me, the trust system has negitives and positives. That is just how it is.

Sigh... I was Mythic and then got dropped down to Legendary for bumping up a friend's thread... sucks. Is there any way I can contest that... it was out of the best intention!!!

No way to contest.

Can I regain the title by being "good"... I have worked hard and was a good member for that long... now over one little slip-up it's gone.

Just about every thing I post is my opinion and nothing more. Be subjective. Respect other's opinions. Try to understand other's point of view.

I was a Mythic member but now I have lost that title. My only guess it that it was because of inactivity. I haven't been really active in the last month and a half. I check the forums a lot but I just haven't signed in and posted much. I haven't been warned for any thing and since I haven't posted much I don't think I have done any thing wrong, actually I'm 99.99999% sure I haven't broken any rules. Heck, I try not to even be rude to people.

It stinks because I kind of enjoyed being a Mythic member but rules are rules and as long as the system is the same for everyone I have no room to complain.

I'm going to be as truthful as possible. I'm not trying to be mean.

People complaining about losing their title is ridiculous.

Achronos has said numerous times that the system s automatic. There is no way to contest it, and doing so will usually result in a warning/ban (usually from Achronos).

By breaking the rules, you risk losing your title. Simple as that.

You can try to contest if you want, but I strongly recommend not doing that.

You can be a "good member," and eventually you'll probably get your title back, but what is a "good member" anyways? Someone who doesn't break the rules? Someone who posts a lot? A Mythic Member? Who knows Who cares. Just be yourself and have fun.

I don't know the answers. Assuming I do simply because I created this FAQ or I'm a Mythic Member is ludicrous. I know no more than anyone else. Sure, I brought the information together, but that's it. Anyone could have done that. I just use common sense. Again, anyone could do that.

That's all I got to say on the matter.
