Dumbd question: Any word on whether group bans affect titles?

No, since Group bans can be issued without reason by anyone with Moderator Powers in said group.

Ugh. I'm back down to regular member. I've been bouncing back and forth between Heroic and regular each day now for the past week.
If competing for a title is correct, then you and I are competing.
It could be me too. I just got this today.

I'm not. I'M ABOVE YOU ALL! MWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

I say we lower titles gang up and take down Blah. In numbers we shall conquer! :P
You'll have to go through me first. We Legendaries stick together... right guys.... right? Hello...

I really wonder how much of an effect PPD has on a member title. I see Legendary members with a PPD of 10+ usually, but I only have a PPD of 6. Then I see Mythics who only have a PPD of 1. This leads me to believe that while PPD is important, it's not all too important.

I'd be willing to bet if we could see his trust points that mythic member would be very close to dropping to legendary.

Yours is 1.29. You can find out what it is with a Script on Greasemonkey.

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

To view it, you'll need the Average Post Count script for the Firefox Greasemonkey extension. However, if you'd rather not, feel free to PM someone who does, such as muah. Your current is 1.29.

I was working on something for those who do not have Firefox, but it's still in the early stages. *tear*

May I ask which browser?

And I think PPD is probably something to do with it all...

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Haha, I really should get Mozilla FF again.

It may be to your benefit....

No, it will be to his benefit. Coup D' Bungie, PPD script, modstalker, and more is definitely worth using Firefox.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

And the more people use it, the less "what's my PPD?" questions will pop up.

Sorry for the double post, but 2 Mythic members who just got off of their ban, are already Heroic. Not even a day after their recovery.

Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

Not particularly surprising. Most members who have been Mythic for some time become Heroic right after coming off shortish bans (3-7 days, it seems). They seem to stay there until their ban completely wears off, when they pop back up to Mythic. At least, that's what I've observed.

Pretty much. Short bans tend to knock users down one of two base titles (I guess it depends how high they are in their current bracket). Of the three mythics, that were banned on the same day, one is already a Fabled Legendary Member. I have observed users coming off short bans and being Mythics right away; the difference being that they will often fluctuate between Legendary and Mythic, and will usually settle as a Legendary Member (showing they have dropped in their trust bracket).

Recent bans (severity dependant) have a certain negative trust influence. Theoretically if your trust value is high enough then bans won't have any visible effect to the base title (although we know prefixes work completely differently); titles are not a linear progression.

I don't think that PPD really has too much effect on titles. At least, PPD on the mains... I think that signing in on a regular basis and having a good combination of posts in private groups and in the mains is what really matters when it comes to titles.

I am not so sure about that. I had been a Regular member that kept to private forums for a while and a week after I started posting in the main forums I got my Heroic member. So it could be a coincidence and I was close to Heroic or it could be that main forums have an impact on your trust rating that is larger than private groups.

Which is why you are only a Senior and don't have a post affiliated title.

Check out my Gaming Rig on EVGA Mod Rigs.

Meh, its good stuff. Makes you think more about positive behavior and adding to the community.

I had lost Heroic then came up to Legendary. Now I'm back down to Heroic. I think my main issue is I'm not on here regularly posting.

That and I had one ban a while back which probably didn't help.

Aren't there Heroic/Legendary/Mythic members who barely post in the main forums and post a lot in the private forums?

Im pretty certain that there would be...perhaps a small few or a great many, I do not know.
