Is it possible to PM Achronos and ask how many Trust-points you have?

Maybe, but the number doesn't really matter since we don't know how many it takes for Heroic, Legendary or Mythic. It's just a number.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

He's told people his own total before, and he told another member, whose name I've forgotten. Maybe JB or robby will swoop in here and tell us.

Edit: I can't find it.

Anyway, he threw it out ther ethat one time only to show how worthless the raw number was. He'll likely not do it again.

This is the post I believe you are referring to.

But in response to nerd's post, why would you want to know your trust rating? It's just a number that means nothing on it's own. Even if you had multiple user's trust ratings as data points it is unlikely that, since everything is relatively based, that you would be able to derive any sort of trend information out of those numbers.

Yep, that was it. The numbers are worthless because they are relative. The number that represents a mythic member today, may be different tomorow.

I just recently received a warning for posting a thread in a forum that wasn't supposed to be there. (Like I knew...) It got locked and I recently received a warning from a forum moderator. Does this mess up my chances of obtaining the "Noble" title on Jan 27, 2010?

Yes, warnings deduct trust points.

Maybe.

We've seen people get an actual bean(not a warning), and still hold onto their Noble prefix.

It can be a very weird system at times.

But the point is he's not going to get it on the same date.

I have a question, and I'm not whining; I just want to know something.

I've been a member here for about a year and half, and became fairly active around the beginning of the year. I think I've been banned once...not quite sure.

But anyways, I have a fairly high post count, and I've seen members with a lot more recent join dates that are Heroic members.

So, my question is why have I not gained a higher title? That ban is a factor, yes, but it should have faded away after about a year.

It honestly looks like you have been banned. If you haven't received any warnings/bans I would think that you would have the Honorable prefix. Receiving a ban would most definitely play a role in when you gain the Heroic member title.

My friend got three warnings in a row and still got honorable member so I don't think so.

Does anyone even read these?

I just had a crazy idea, what if Trust Points were all ran on different paths for each genre of Prefix and then totaled for a member title? Like for example, if you're a Noble member and are given a warning, your TP for Noble may go down far enough to give you Honourable status or so far down that it drops below how many TP you have for Intrepid so instead you are given the Intrepid title.

Does that make sense?

I understand, but the ban was around Jan. this year. And with no warnings/bans since, and good post activity, I would like to think it's faded a bit?

I am so confused.

On another note, I lost my Heroic, don't know why though.

Oh well, tis' just an online rank.

It depends. How long was the ban? Have you maintained a decent amount of activity for the last year?

2 weeks, if I remember correctly. And yes, a good amount. The longest I was inactive was about 2 weeks; who knows. I guess it's something.

This totally sucks. I had no idea! I was looking forward to that title.

The Seventh Column demands it.

Figuring out this system is like solving a riddle fueled by the e-peens of the community.

Quite effective, I must admit.

Also, I would have to believe that the sub-forums have respective point or strength modifiers towards the TP system. For example, a post in the Flood forums may be worth less than one made in the Bungie Universe thread, if at all.

Yes, warnings deduct trust points.
Although you can recieve a warning and still maintain your title, i think bans have a bigger effect than warnings though.

BTW, when will they fix that glitch where a person switches constantly between Legendary and Mythic status.
