This is strange. I got the Exalted prefix a day early and it seems that a very large amount of people's prefixes, who have previously been banned, changed to a ban related prefix... Too many people to be coincidental, in my opinion. I wonder if something was changed about the system or if it has something to do with the New Year.
I'm putting my money on the fact that it is a new year. The web team is on vacation, so I doubt they changed anything.

So maybe the ban related prefixes have some affinity to January first? This is pretty interesting if so.

I should clarify..

A two year old member can receive the Noble prefix as evidence has suggested yes? However, if that two year old member was banned during his first year, it would take a year after those bans for him to receive the Noble prefix.
I was banned less than a year ago, i gained honorable prefix and now my account is 2 years old i gained the 'noble' prefix.
That's interesting.
My two year mark is in 5 months, and I haven't been banned yet(and I don't plan to be), so I think I might just get Noble then.
Thing is, I was inactive for a short stint 6 months in.
We'll see what happens.

That's like partly the opposite of me and I just got noble :/

Maybe the new year causes everyone's slate to be wiped clean? A fresh start where past bans don't affect your title anymore?

Possibly, but then I would think a lot more people would have the ban related prefixes. I think we are just going to have to sit back and watch what happens. ^_^

True. There might be other factors as well... anywho, lets sit back and watch the show then.

Hmm, so I've seen a few people's titles in here changed since the new year? Strange. I'm still holding down my boring Honorable lol.

I got my Noble a couple of months yearly yesterday, so it might have something to do with the new year.

Same here, but there aren't really any ban-related titles for me for another 5 months anyway.
I haven't been active for two years yet.

I'm changing Noble to "no bans in 1 year" because I have found evidence of this courtesy of explosivediahreh.
What do you mean? I got my Noble prefix exactly on my 2nd Bnet birthday, without having any bans before that time.

If explosivediahreah had previously been banned, then received the Noble prefix a year later, then I would suspect that it has something to do with This Aspect in which the ban related prefixes behave unpredictably after receiving a ban. However, before a user receives any bans, the ban related prefixes behave pretty predictably under the 1/2/3 year rule. For example, in 2 days I am 99% certain I will obtain the Exalted prefix since it will be my 3rd year without ever receiving a ban.

I got my "noble" prefix yesterday. And I definitely got a warning less than a year ago. SO, there you have it.

I too got noble yesterday and was warned a couple months before that. But to the original guy, I also got it exactly on my 2nd year of being on b.net.
But today it changed to intrepid so maybe it was an accident.

I don't think it is that simple. From reading Achronos' posts, it seems that regaining a ban related prefix is dependant upon how large the received ban was. I don't know how large the ban was you received a year ago, but I would bet that if that ban was smaller than it was you would have received the Noble prefix earlier, and if it was larger then you would have received it later.

Duardo Might want to check out the 'Honorable' Prefix one.

We both know I've been banned in the past 6 months, and uhh, for some odd reason I have it. >_>. Check my ban history if you want, you weren't the only one to ban me.

I'm gathering that the ban related prefixes have a relation to age of the account. Meaning that if you have been around for a longer time, then you get a strike or two more than if it's a younger account.

The bigger you are, the harder you fall sort of concept? That would make sense since there seems to be a TON of Honorable and Noble prefix gains today from previously banned members, with hardly any Exalted gains.

Maybe the other way around. The bigger you are, the more you can take.

*Refrains from Innuendo*

I think it seems plausible. 3 years on Bnet for me, and I got banned back in ...september or october. and Just now got the 'Honorable' Prefix. Hmm..
