eh. ive been here 2 years come the beginning of february, and only just got honorable heroic. dont post much on the main forums, but you would think about 50+ posts a day in the groups would be pretty decent for rank...

Yea the groups count for something. I read somewhere that Archonos mentioned the system does take into account quality of posts and not just quantity. How about factoring "Creating topics" versus just replys? I haven't seen that touched on anywhere, or if "Hot Topics" mean anything, again quality I assume plays a role in all that too.

How many bans have you had?
I'm just curious because I've been here about the same time as you; but I post a lot more in the main forums.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

I just became Honorable.

It seems a lot of people who will have a B.Net anniversary in March are getting some upgraded titles.

My B.net birthday is the 1st of April, so according to your theory maybe I'll get a new prefix next month?
;D

I'll let you guys know if anything changes.

I can't wait for my b.net birthday. :) March =) probably i wont get any promotions...

For God's sake I hope not. No one would be a Member and I wouldn't be able to feel as good about myself! XD

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Anyway, I think I might get Heroic within the next two months, and maybe (just maybe) I'll get Noble in 6 months.

Yeah, I'm trying.
School is against me. >.<

TBH, I'm not too sure I'll get Noble anyway.
I might get it at like 2 and a half years here or something.
We'll see.
Even then, I might get Exalted, 3 years no bans/warnings, before I get Noble.
I got some work to do, lol.

I'm waiting for my Noble first. Then I'll go for Legendary.

I find American Recoil's theory on Trust Points pretty interesting, however this one particular line:

"One day of activity/logging in -- +5 TPs"

doesn't seem correct, or at least a bit misleading. I could be wrong, but just by logging into Bungie, one probably doesn't receive any TPs. You still have to post. Maybe that's what he meant... Of course I'm basing this on the fact that I've been lurking here for over 2 years, post very infrequently, and as a result am only a Noble Member.

I doubt that's true either. I've been logging in almost every day for a couple months now and posting regularly and I still have not hit Legendary. If I had been 100% active since start the age of my account sits me at Mythic.

Yeah, if I'd been active 100% then I'd be Heroic right now, and a Noble at my 2nd Birthday for sure.

But I had a vacation once, and that's affected it.

Unless your vacation lasted close to a year that's a poor excuse. Why do people have trouble saying "Sometimes I just don't come on much."

Noble is a trust point dominant title.

Woah, easy there killer. He may have meant "vacation" as a hiatus from Bnet for any reason at all, not blaming it on an actual vacation.

I had large swaths of inactivity last year, that is the main cause of my stunted growth. Full time work, school, Girl, family. I have recently been promoted so now I do more delegating than actual doing stuff. So now I get more time to myself.

No, it was due to an actual vacation, but the hiatus from Bungie.net lasted a bit longer than its instigator.
Went overseas for a few weeks, came back, didn't use Bungie.net at all for another two months, then I came back.
Something like that.

That should affect my title and whatnot, correct?

Most certainly. Any extended inactivity makes a dent in your Title, it seems. Some do get lucky and earn it right back. Others have to wait weeks. Others have been waiting months and are STILL at the lowered level. What can ya do?

You're not nearly active enough for a higher title. Aside from your posts today, your most recent post was in December. The most recent after that was in November of 2008. Sowwy, activity is key.
