Without me, it's just "Aweso".

Just lost my Legendary after having it for 6 months. I'll get it back though.

Hopefully.
xD
Same here.

I got Legendary in April, left for a few months and amazingly still had it, and then December comes around and I get a three day ban.

I lost my Heroic status. No bans, warnings, etc.

Edit: I also got mine on Jan. 1st.

Seems I got it back..

That means you had a major high trust rating before you left. Interesting.

Though, I have to say sorry, because I lol'd about the December part. That just plain sucks

Sounds like a bunch of Justin Bieber wannabes in here. I bet you all wear skinny jeans too.

Do you loose titles for gamertag changes? Cause this is what seemed to of happened to me.

Attaching a gamertag seems to have a positive trust influence, and detaching one seems to have a negative trust influence. I'd imagine that if reattach a gamertag you'd regain the trust points you lost within a couple days at most.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

Perhaps, but if you disattach the new one and bring back the old one, wont that also give even more negative trust points according to your theory?

Well, I merely changed the name of my gamertag. I didn't go so far as to unlink and re-link my gamertag...

Oh! I thought you meant that you changed linked gamertags. Yeah, I don't think that gamertag name changes have any effect on an individual's Bungie.net trust value. You most likely have lost your title to some other factor.

Based on the amount of groups you are in, and the frequency of your past posts, I would say that you aren't consistent enough with your activity. Regular positive contribution is rewarded. Sporadic lurking is not. I'm sure that if you posted on a more frequent basis you would become Mythic shortly after.

Well, I don't understand what it could of been from. I was given a warning a day or two before I lost my status, but I didn't loose it immediately. It took about 2 days, which leads me to believe it was unrelated.

In a way it was a bit disappointing, but nothing big.

The irony is that I was first promoted to Legendary while taking a break, but when I came back on April 1 and saw the Legendary I thought it was some sort of practical joke that was going on site-wide.

I think trust rating is profoundly effected by your average post length and your time logged.

  • 01.09.2010 3:38 PM PDT

It probably is. I haven't been on B.net as I used to be, do to TOO MUCH SCHOOL WORK. *Ugh*

So this wasn't really a surprise.

I haven't been banned since April as well. I got banned as a prank, from FoMan. I got unbanned later that day.

I just got done with a ban placed by you, Duardo.
I got honorable in about 3 days.

There are differing factors in the honorable prefix, i think anyways!?

Just because it happened to you by chance, doesn't prove the theory. It could have just as easily been coincidentally awarded to you in that time.

I saw someone point out a little while back that bans and warnings may just put the progress of these titles back by a specific amount of time. Rather than entirely resetting your progress. I'm starting to think this may be a fairly accurate hypothesis.

You can get banned and still qualify for the ban related prefixes, given the right amount of time. Here's Achronos' explanation:
Posted by: Achronos
The 3 ban related prefixes have different requirements, varying time and allowed ban lengths/counts. Exalted is considered "the highest" because you can't get any bans or warnings of any kind for quite a long time, which is harder than just being a member for a long time.
So basically, you can get a small ban and keep the ban related prefix because you are given some "wiggle room" with the lower ban related prefixes like Honorable and sometimes Noble. Also, from what I've seen so far, Exalted has no wiggle room at all so even you receive the lowest warning possible you're gonna lose it.

Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

The OP should read (in my opinion) something like this:
- Honorable - No bans/warnings in 1 year. If banned/warned, you may or may not keep the title, depending on length/number of bans. Source
- Noble - Member for 2 years with no bans. If banned/warned, you may or may not keep the title, depending on length/number of bans. Source
- Exalted - No bans/warnings in 3 years.
I have no idea if you can get Exalted after being banned. Or how long it takes if you can. The prefixes have only been around a year, and since this prefix takes so long to earn, it's harder to make guesses.

It's also difficult to know when/if someone can get a ban related title back, especially since it seems to depend on the severity of the ban. It's different for everyone. I'm tired of repeating myself, too :(

Yeah, I definitely think that would clear up a ton of confusion on the ban related prefixes.

Yeah, it will.

Anyway, I'm still waiting on Heroic...

I'm still wondering what made my Heroic go away. I've been active enough to be Legendary (well, in my opinion anyways).

Curious as to when it will show back up.
