All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity.

My posts are still hard to find. But it's getting easier. Unfortunately, more people are starting to use the Mustache Bomb. Tis most dissatisfying there.
Just wait until you get the spinning mustache! :P

It's only a matter of time before the spinning mustache bomb goes public as well.

It should be reserved just for you burrito...NO ONE else.

Speaking of avatars and titles- wouldn't it just be deliciously devious to reserve some avatars for certain titles? If possible- it'd be funny.
Also if anyone wants to make me another spinning mustache bomb feel free. Duardo's is perfect except it has a little spin. Like it's going around a little circle. But the timing and everything- absolutely brilliant. If anyone wants to throw burrito a bone there... lemme know.

But yeah on topic: I remember there was a thread about forums for certain users. Why not avatars? Not customized ones like the spinning mustache bomb. Just general... tad more exclusive ones. Just thought I'd throw that out there... again.
:)

I'd probably hate that. Funny thing is though, even though Ive been banned alot, I have honorable since the New Years. and I was banned at least 3 times since july. >_>...

Some seem to think that the severity of your bans play a role in the ability to recover your status afterward.

All counter-arguments to evolution are based on a gross misunderstanding of the theory.

Does one account's ban history effect the ability to "rank up" for another account on the same computer?

No. Different accounts don't interact. The only possibly way I can see that happening is if you were banned for trying to bypass a ban on another account.

Otherwise no.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Maybe I should put it on as we have the same title now.

Forever Forgers

Live and let live.

Wait, i read something somewhere (can have been in this post) about some system, like if you suddenly get a very high post per day most are disregarded and presumed as spam. My PPD goes up and down due to availability (dont always have the time to post). How much does this affect?

The best defense is a good one.

thank you muchly!

If it goes up suddenly in one day, but stays, then it's considered you being super active. But, if it goes up in just one day, and only for that day, it's considered spam.

It was MUCH easier to find your posts back in '08, but it seems hard to see you now a days.

I hate you so much...

But not as much as I hate the internet.

Is anyone else bouncing back and forth between legendary and mythic the last few weeks? I was just wondering who I'm fighting to keep the title lol.

I believe that all heroic, legendary, & mythic statuses are limited. Check the first post in this thread. There are some good links there.

I'm not.

I got my legendary about 4-5 months ago and I haven't went up or down at all.

My prefixes have changed but my base title stayed the same.

Just staying active in the forums and logging on daily without bans and you should be fine if you are trying to rank up.

Its highly doubtful that playing Halo will improve your title or prefix here.
Don't be too sure. It is debatable on how muc influence it actually has, but Achronos has hninted that game participation matters.Posted by: Achronos
The trust rating already includes elements of game participation.

This is debatable, actually. JB just posted some liknks to some of Achronos' earlier comments when the titles first came out. He made it sound like there was a connection.Posted by: Achronos

Yeah I saw someone the other day who said they'd ranked up after getting off of their xbox.
I didn't see if he was playing Halo or not, but I guess it has something to do with it.

This has some value I believe. I joined on this account almost 2 years ago and am still a member. I also made an alt. account and got permanently blacklisted. I tried to sign in on this account and received a couple bans for trying to bypass the system. All of this happened well over a year ago and have not made any other accounts since then.

That's actually really interesting, but I wouldn't think Achronos would use a system with many flaws. These being if more than one person have an account on the same computer.

Or at least the same recognizable user (caches not clear, same browser, etc.)

Also, while I have something on topic down, I just realized this. How do you link someone's post in that manner? I never found out.

I hit "Reply", and then "Cancel". The post should be in the url bar. As for posts that have been locked or archived, I have no clue.

Woah, that's actually a much easier way to do it then what I do. I usually hit reply and then toggle with the url. Remove 'create', add an 's' onto post and remove '&act=reply' or something like that.

Enlightening. I think I will play Halo now for the greater good of my Title.

One thing. Someone help me in SWAT. XD

Actually, now that I think of it, maybe it involves all of Bungie's online-enabled games? I think it's plausible since online games are recorded by Xbox, and Bungie.net isn't about strictly Halo, it just seems to be the current focal point. Do you see what I mean? Maybe older games like Marathon show you're a "veteran" or you may have been sticking with Bungie longer than others.

I doubt that playing classic Bungie games have a bigger weight on your member title. One more thing LordOfBlah, you care way too much about your title. It does not make you better than anymore, I hope you realise this soon enough.

Chill for a bit mmkay?
