Alright.

So, I got a 1 week in late December for a sarcastic comment.
And a 1 week earlier this month for a form of rank trolling i did not know existed (I do now)

And i've decided to be a good boy, and try to get my heroic back.

About how long would this take? Im patient, im just trying to get a time-frame on things.

I've grown tired of being a "member" =[

Well you'll have to post and be involved enough to override the bans in your formula. I would say you have some time ahead of you before you see Heroic again. Just create some good threads and in time you'll be back to where you were.

And interestingly enough, I'm a Legendary member again... I don't think I've seen anyone's member title change as frequently as mine. I'm like a flashing neon sign.

Yea it takes months apparently to recover from even a 3 day ban.

EDIT: This is involving the trust points you have....you take a big hit when you get a ban, your trust points drop like crazy I guess. They also factor in with your trust rating for the day compared to other members....very complicated stuff. Possibly the member titles are the 8th wonder of the world. Crazy stuff....

I'd venture to guess that it will be a good few months before you get your title back.

But the more you post(constructively)and avoid trouble, the more of a chance you will have to get it back.

Does anyone even read these?

Also Badballer, you were Intrepid before your ban, and after your ban you were Fabled? It could be you just got it coincidentally while posting in groups... Or the ban could have had something to do with it. I have something of a theory, but I'm going to let it brew in my head for a little bit.
I'm guessing it was because I posted in groups a lot.

I don't think ban history has any if not little effect on Intrepid of Fabled. I was banned on Intrepid once and came back Fabled. Honorable, Noble and Exalted are the only ones which should take effect.

That's why I would think that Noble would be a higher title than Intrepid or Fabled.

I went fron Noble to Intrepid and to be honest I was pretty happy with the Noble prefix.
You can earn the Noble prefix easily, just make an account and every now and again sign in to check game stats or some group you're part of. It's the posting in the actual Forums that the titles rewards you for.

The Fabled Prefix isn't higher than Noble, it just takes priority over it.

Veteran title is pretty easy to get.

You may have Fabled, but Honorable is where it's at!

  • 01.20.2010 6:50 PM PDT

Which prefix, then, is generally considered the highest/best?

Exalted Mythic Member is the highest you can go.

Honorable. It means you have honor, not a myth and don't likely don't exist like Fabled people.

Seriously, what sounds cooler, Honorable Hero or Noble Hero?

Actually the best would be Exalted Mythic.

Honorable!
Anyway, the real best might be Elder. You would have to be around here for a looooong time with no bans/warnings.

Well how I look at it; Elder, Fabled and Exalted are the highest prefixes you can get. Though because Exalted has the highest priority it is believed to be the greatest.

I was thinking the same thing, although the Elder title doesn't have to do with bans; as far as we know.

And how many Elders do we see? Compared to the Exalteds?

Actually, the funny thing is that it has a lot to do with bans, considering it is impossible to get the Elder prefix if you've never been banned. Exalted would automatically take priority at the 3 year mark, and from then the prefix would never change (except to Absent if inactive). =P

Which is exactly why it's so rare. Intrepid and Fabled both take priority over Elder and Exalted takes priority over them all. So basically to earn the Elder prefix you must not post much but still recieve a ban for one of your posts.

Funny isn't it.

Do you consider mine a coup? I just typed in #null for a few fields and went with "No" for everything else.

Yeah it is.
And I think that's why we want to figure it out so much.

I'm still Honorable.
And this presents a dilemma.

Because once I lose my Honorable, I must ceremonially disembowel myself.

Honorable should be the highest, so people don't go around cutting their spleens out because they've been here too long.

Alright, that was bad, sorry.
I'm waiting to see if I get Noble at my two year mark, even though I wouldn't have been active for two years, only ban/warn-less. I'll basically have the requirements backwards.
I wonder if I'll get it?
