With an account dated to 2008 and a high post count, will that be enough "points" to be Legendary?
Hmmm. I looked at your recent posts, and perhaps you're not ranking up because of a lack of consistency. Up until very recently, you would only post in the main forums here and there. It may take a little while for your title to catch up.

Just remain active for a while, and you will probably go up.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

The whole rank system here confuses me so much. I've been banned atleast 4 times and one of them was for 11 months (was going to be a perma) and yet I have the rank I do.

I'm very grateful for this "second chance" but I just find it odd. Dun take it away from me. I'm proud of it.

Its is pointless...It wouldn't matter how much you post because it would still take a really long time...
I post about fifteen times a day half in the main forums and the other half in privet groups and still no intped rank for me

I'd rather be Legendary than Intrepid.

Intrepid is a prefix; You can have both Intrepid and Legendary.
What makes you think I didn't know?

Hey all Interpred members, how many posts a day/ did you have when you recieved that rank. I post at least 25 times a day, something 50, in order to recieveing that rank.
Posting with the intention of "ranking" is ridiculous to me.
It isn't ridiculous, it's pointless, stupid and pathetic.
I don't think it is a bad thing to use your title as motivation to play nice, kind of like a personal reward and incentive. Even though the titles were implemented originally just for fun, the positive reinforcement effect that they have is one that should be welcomed in my opinion.

I do however think it is pretty pathetic to try to manipulate the system for something that has such a subjective meaning, and/or to use the titles to justify blatant spamming and other forms of manipulation.

Basically if you want to give your title a meaning, make sure that it is only in the positive sense and that it only affects you, not the people around you.

I had like, 20 after 9 months. I got Fabled like, 3 months after that, getting an average of 30 posts a day.

I would not disagree with that.

From JPeloquin218's perspective his intentions are pointless, stupid and pathetic as Yuke had so eloquently put.

I'm quite curious as to how this can be....anyone have a theory?

And so here at the end of my life, I do once again betray a former master. The path ahead is fraught with peril. But I will do all I can to keep it stable - keep you safe. I'm not so foolish to think this will absolve me of my sins. One life hardly balances billions.

Now is it possible for a person to have say... Interbred and elder at the same time? Like interbred elder noble member?

I would guess that he was very active/good after his banned for about 2 years.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

Say rather that it's like putting the cart before the horse. If you enjoy the Bnet community, then continue to log in, check your stats, participate in threads, maybe start a few of your own, join a group or two. Let the chips fall where they may as far as a title goes. Altering your behaivior, other than "playing nicer," just to try to get a different title is missing the point of titles in the first place.

Hope that was a typo.

No, you cannot have more than one title at once, it seems.

Working to get a title, just to have a title does defeat the purpose. Think of a member title as a pat on the back. The higher the title, the more pats you get. Then think of a ban like my grandpa when he sees you, and slaps on the back really hard >.<

I hate that soo much. But I forget who said this now, but titles are just hats pretty much.

  • 02.01.2010 3:39 PM PDT

It is just a goal I set for myself. Because that id the one title I think I can earn.

Cool. I'll stay active. BNet is too cool to leave.
Also, don't forget to post every day at least once or twice in public forums. (I don't know about Private Forums.) That will help raise your rank higher.

Title, not rank.

After a while you'll see the same old -blam!- happening again and again. I don't call that "cool", but hey I don't control your thoughts.

Anywho, are there any cases besides mine, as to a warning not dropping someone with "Noble"? It makes me curious to Achronos's post on how Exalted means no warnings or bans.

Honorable/Noble prefixes seem to have a little leeway.

It's not a rank, but a title.
And yeah, pretty much.

The more you anticipate a certain rank, the longer it's going to take to achieve it.

And I don't know why anyone one would be active in these forums JUST for the sole purpose of achieving a higher title.

I don't know, it just seems a little pointless to me if that's the only reason why someone would be here.
