When enlightenment is the question. The Answer is Pain.
When Ignorance is the problem. The Answer is Blood.
When love is absent. Hatred fills the void.

My Intrepid status seems to have disappeared. I didn't know that was possible :P

Maybe since you're a normal member, if someone passes you up in qualification for Intrepid, then they get bumped up and you down?

I'm not sure, I haven't seen this happen yet.

I lost Fabled when I was banned almost two months ago and have never gotten it back.

This is odd, I wouldn't imagine a prefix that requires a certain post count to be effected this way by a ban...I don't know maybe it makes sense...

Forever Forgers

Live and let live.

Does anyone know how much time you need to be inactive to make the title system consider it as inactivity?

I made my account 03.02.2009 and my first post was 3/25/2009 meaning 23 days later. Not sure if i have been inactive for longer periods, but does inactivity leave a permanent mark, or does it sort of "disappear" when you come back? I heard about someone who was "absent member", came back and was legendary.

Umm I Cant remember how long it would be to turn to Absent member, (check the Op) This does not leave any sort of permanent mark, it would disappear when you return.

Two months of no activity equals Absant.

I've been a member of B.net since 2008. Anyway, my title is still the exact same. (Not complaining, just sayin')

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Be consistently active, and don't get banned. Also, you only just started posting (first post is 3/4/2010), don't expect to shoot up, or go up soon.

Gods Must Be Strong

I haven't read through all the pages so I may have missed this but...

Is there some sort of machine, program, etc. that automatically increases your rank or is it just done when a forum ninja feels like it?

I'm just curious

Troll confirmed. I never even insulted you

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Being absent itself doesn't leave any permanent mark, but I don't think long periods of time away from Bungie help your chances for ranking higher at all.

"You dead yet? No? You will be!"

"How you like them pears? Guess what I mean by pears."

"I'm gonna rip off his partridge and kick him in the pear tree!"

I've been an active member for a year, so shouldn't I be a Honorable Heroic Member and not just Honorable Member? I'm not complaining though, I just want to know.

I hope you wouldn't have to kill me to tell me.

The jar has got to be cracked...and soon.

Not necessarily. Have you been banned or warned at all? Also, define active. Do you log on everyday and post?

I've been a member for 2 years and just recently got my Heroic status.

I had it, lost it, had it again, lost it for a few weeks, and just got it back. I'm right on the borderline at the moment.

Don't worry about it, just be more active than I was, you'll get Heroic soon enough.

It's an automatic sytem.

There are way to many members on this site for the webteam to manually promote everyone but a moderator can influence a decrease in your title by issuing a warning or a ban.

Be active and avoid getting banned/warned and you will eventually get a new title.

Posting in February, then not posting again till March isn't considered "active".

You need to post frequently, which, IMO, is probably 3+ days a week.

From what I've gathered if you post decent sized posts while posting a lot gives you a decent trust rating.

From what I saw in your recent post history is that you weren't able to post yesterday in the Main Forums and if you happen to be at a low Heroic, like you just stated. It is possible that you lost it from that and if that is the case you might have it back fairly soon if you keep logging in everyday and posting.

  • 03.14.2010 4:10 PM PDT

I'm kinda lul'ing at my status this month. It's bipolar and on its period, and at the same time, it's going up and down.

Makin' me laugh.

It seems like your average posts per day has to be a good number.

Also, I have regained Heroic status :D

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

You can barely trust anything for what it seems, it seems.

Have lost Legendary for probably a month by now and my only guess to how so was that I posted in a thread from which the OP got banned and it got locked. Though, I never received a warning message.

  • 03.15.2010 2:30 PM PDT

When enlightenment is the question. The Answer is Pain.
When Ignorance is the problem. The Answer is Blood.
When love is absent. Hatred fills the void.

Does that actually have an effect?

I mean is this something that people really think? that if you post in a thread in which the creator of the thread is banned and the thread locked, your trust is effected by this.
