hehe Campbell, I've got 0 bans and a med. post count. I've been member for 3 years, man I don't care about heroic, I'm eyeballing that exalted prefix
I don't know, but when I asked a member a while back about average post count, he said his was about 10,000 and Intrepid. I'm going for that, but mine is about 8,000. Anyways, I'd have to say that for Intrepid, you need 10,000, and for Exalted, 20,000. I'm going for 10,000. :P

20 Posts per day, and your account is 579 days old. Though the PPD is not reliable, but if it was, you would be at 11,580 posts total. Since this isn't exactly right, you're probably pretty close to 10,000.
Hmm, maybe it's 20,000 to 40,000 for the Intrepid and Fabled.

Yup, I just noticed that Exalted is different from Fabled. I just get the two mixed up. :P

Hopefully there will be a type of system where you can choose your status. You know, for example, someone unlocks Senior Member, but they have Exalted... They could choose to be Senior if they unlocked it already.

Of course the ban system would still work with it. If they get banned, they can't get access to it for "x" amount of time. But if they are repeatedly banned, then they would have to unlock it all over again.

I actually like this idea a lot, if someone has earned multiple prefixes, he should be allowed to choose which one is displayed.
A bnet employee or mod could have suggested this or started thinking about this though. This wasn't an original idea thought up by myself. I've seen this implemented on other social networking websites.

Well, hopefully it will be taken into consideration on this website. :)

Nah. Bnet employees and Mods often look in this thread. I'm sure they'll respond to anything here; if they feel like it. :P

I don't have a specific time to tell you, but it won't be long at all.

Private groups have nothing too do with being a Mythic member.

Actually, they do. Some people have been known to get higher titles by posting in private groups. It's a factor, but it's still easier to 'rank up' using the forums.

Yes, I think Group Forum posts would be less than or equal to a simple reply in the forums, granted it is constructive.

I like how a conversation is brought up, thought about by some users, forgotten, then 2 or 3 days later another person brings the same conversation up...

From what I've seen many people say on here, I think that private group posts may be more valuable than posts on the public forums. Not too sure, though.

"-blam!-" - The most commonly used phrase on Xbox Live.
"Ooooh, pretty blue thing," - My sister said that the first time she saw a live Plasma grenade.

I have a quick question:
What counts as a warning? About 2 months ago I got a warning, and I looked over my past forum posts for about an hour, and I didn't see anything against the rules. I really try hard to not be a troll/jerk/a-hole. That's not me. I don't do that.
So, whatever it was I did, I'm sorry, and just to refresh your mind, I'll restate my question.
What counts as a warning?

Blackness Confirmed. You've got soul.

Badballer's Explanation on Trust Points
As we know there are 9 prefixes (including absent), I'll stick them in their proper groups.

Ban History
- Honorable
- Noble
- Exalted

Activity
- Absent*
- Intrepid
- Fabled

Length
- Veteren
- Senior
- Elder

Take note though that absent member does not follow the rules, it's a stand alone which follows its own rules. Inactivity for 2 or more months. I simply stuck it in activity down on the lower end of the spectrum of activity. Seperate them all into 3's.

All figures are made up and are being used as examples

Legendary Member = 10 000 TP
Ban History = 3 000 TP
Activity = 4 000 TP
Length = 3 000 TP

This user is either an Intrepid or Fabled Legendary Member.

So why is it that we see some users with no prefix? My guess is that their TP looks a little something like this.

Legendary Member = 10 000 TP
Ban History = 3 000 TP
Activity = 3 000 TP
Length = 4 000 TP

As we know, to even earn the Veteren prefix you have to be a member on bungie.net for 4+ years. The system refuses to give this member a prefix until the Ban History or Activity TP takes over.

Well that's what I think anyway, not really that complex but a theory none the less.

I am confused on your theory...

I was banned twice for 7 days by "accident" my ban was removed, and i lost my Honorable Heroic at the time. (Now Legendary)

I had never been banned before. So what you theory says, is that i must wait a year and 2 months before i can get another prefix?

Fabled means VERY HIGH post count. I'm trying to get Intrepid which is High post count.

To properly answer your question however (Not directed at cheesenator if you were wondering) in order to grab a prefix just post a lot or pass the 4 year mark. By passing the 4 year mark you will become Veteran, but you can just stay active for a while and grab Intrpepid.
