There's no friggin way I'm going to search all 300+ pages of posts to find the answer. If anyone actually knows, please tell me.

Fabled = High post count. Does this include posts in groups or just the main forums? I don't post much in the mains anymore but I'm all over groups like flies on -blam!-.

Thanks.

It means posts in public forums or in private groups. At least I'm 99.99% sure.

I remember being told it's the "sum of ALL website activity" but I'm sure group bans to count.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

Intrepid and Fabled are post count based. The only titles effected by activity is your base one. That, trust, and if you've been around enough to attain one decides if you gain a higher title.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Acquiring Intrepid seems to have high post count right? The approximate I thought at first was the average of 10,000. But someone told me earlier on average that my average post count I have is 11,000+ Maybe Intrepid is 15,000 or 20,000? And Fabled is 30,000-40,000?

I don't think it's just high post count. I am pretty sure it has to do with total activity, which can mean a variety of unspecified things.

Essentially, if you're active enough then you'll get the prefix. However, if you try to quantify aspects of a system, in which only a small fraction is known about, you're just going to end up frustrated.

True. I'm not very active in groups. I particularly like posting in the forums. I really haven't seen a group which peaks my interests. However, if I find one that relates to my interests (Forging Techniques and how to perfect forge), then I'd join it in a heartbeat. To be honest, even though I have been here for quite some time, I haven't figured out how to search for groups.

That's completely false. The PPD script only registers your last 300 posts.

Also, I'm 100% sure that I don't have more than 6000 posts.

Eh, but if you didn't have more than 6000 posts, then I'd have Fabled as well.

I didn't start getting active until April of 2009. But when I did, I posted at least 20-30 times a day. If we multiply approximately 375 (April + part of May) and 20 per day, I'd have approximately 7500 posts to date. I don't know, but maybe the post system resets itself after a new year? Could be a hypothesis.

Group posting is also included in the total post count/day.

From what I have seen this is right, but group posts don't carry as much weight I believe. Otherwise people would be able to create groups, and post nonstop in them to get a PPD of 100. Group posts may only be counted to certain amount as well to further cut down on the problem of people just creating groups for the purpose of increasing PPD.

I think it's more likely that the older the account is, the more posts it takes to get a "High Post Count".

Ouch for me. :( If that's true, then I'd better get started posting in both the forums and groups a lot. :(

I've often thought that they counted a little towards your title but not as much as being active on the mains.

It's all a theory really.

I tried that once back in the day to see if posting in groups really did do anything. I created a group and set up a script that would have me automatically post gibberish. I think I had maybe 500 posts when I stopped. Nothing happened. So there is probably some sort of criteria to stop people from doing that, for instance the group might need a certain number of members, it might require every post you make to be unique, or maybe there need to be unique posts from different users in between your posts or something.
