OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

I think I should be a Heroic by now I wonder whats holding me back?
Your activity, ban history and post quality are factors in achieving your titles.

Do you guys think being blocked by another user effects one's trust points?

I think it could, think about it, if someone blocked you, then you must not be good person.

Not really. I remember being blocked by someone when he stated that there would be no prequel to Halo. I told them that Reach is a major event and will happen. He kept telling me that the book isn't the game, and i told him that the game is based off of the books. Then he blocked me.

The public's opinion of you should not effect trust. Only the moderator's opinion affects trust (through bans and warnings).

I'm Noble how do I become Heroic?

The best advice I have is to be consistently active. There have been points where I've lost my title by simply leaving the site for a few days. Although I recently went on a three-month hiatus and earned the title back in ten minutes, so how much you "contribute" to the community is probably a larger factor.

See? mac here goes weeks and months sometimes between his posts. However, his progression seems to be right on track, his account only being a year older than my own.

There is some key element we are missing here, either that or the whole thing is literally random. It's not activity. It's not "post quality" (as it cannot be measured). It's not private groups or post count. So what is it? What are we missing?

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Every time the word "random" is posted in this thread, I die a little on the inside.

Prefix and title-wise, no. Unless of course the oppurtunity to be a ninja comes up, which you've already stated. However, you can still earn the Senior and Elder prefixes, if you're warned or banned. Exalted is the highest on the prefix list, (or at least it was last time I checked. I'll go back and read the OP again), but it's not like you're stuck with that title forever.

Actually, you can get any title again. I just went into specifics that were nearly completely irrelevant >.>

poor ilitch

Regarding post count and activity, does it matter which forum the posts are located in? I am wondering because now that Reach Beta is over, the majority of my posts (if not all) are in the Flood. Just wondering if anyone thinks it makes a difference.

It doesn't matter which forum, it matters on how high the quality of your posts are.

How could an automated system possibly determine the quality of a post?

I'll die to win ,
Because I was born to lose.

I've looked the best i could but there is way to many posts check all of them. Sorry if its already been addressed.

I found a Veteran Member

Which has a Base Title: Member
And a Prefix: Veteran

-The Prefix Veteran in the OP is described as:
Veteran - Active member for 4 years

-The Base Title Member is
Basic title for all members

All other Base Titles require you to be an "Active member" for about 6 months or more

To qualify for Veteran prefix you need to be a member for 4 years which should also qualify him to have a Base Title of Mythic Member which you need to be
active member for about 2-3 years
or at least a Heroic Member

I know there just theory's but the main contributing factor in these theory's is been an "Active member" in all prefix's and base titles I've mentioned.

In conclusion (TL;DR)
Been a Veteran Member is contradicting based on OP because To be a Veteran you have to be an "Active member" for 4years and been an "Active member" for 4years would qualify you to become a Mythic Member or a Veteran Mythic Member
The only conclusion i can think of is there could be an unknown factor that effects Prefix's and Base titles differently.

Bans and warnings may effect it but in the OP the Base Titles and Prefix's i mentioned the only factors mentioned are How long you have been an "Active Member" for.

And i would guess bans and warnings effect the base title and prefix equally.

Yes, it is required to be an "Active Member" but when Bungie.net means "Active" they mean being able to hold that account for 4 years by only signing and looking around. You don't have to post, just keeping the account for a year will get you "Honorable" and getting 2 years "Noble" and so on and on... But most "Veteran's" of Bungie.net are Heroic or Mythic even.

Although I'm not sure if you can lose the "Active Member" prefixes from a ban/warning, it would be great if I could get an answer from someone who was/is an "Active Member" to confirm this for me.

Veterans don't require no bans or warnings to achieve like Honorable or Noble , and neither does Mythic or Heroic , so how did he get Veteran without Mythic?
