OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

I believe it's based on grammar, how helpful it is, and how informative it is. It could also be on spelling.

Interesting. The system can tell the quality of your post.

But that's just me. No one really knows but the webteam.

It's a shame it is against the rules to call you out on your rank, seeing as how the level you play at greatly affects the opinions you hold (on gameplay). Generally, if you are bad - Your opinions are wrong, and your argument is invalid.

I am pretty sure it would be a automated system because it would be to strenuous to read every post and update each persons title accordingly.

And i cant see how a automated system could pick up on helpfulness and how informative each post is, but on the other hand Grammar would easily be picked up and could definitely have an effect.

Does getting banned pretty much make me equal to a new member?

Getting banned resets your trust count. You'll have to get it back again.

So 5 bans is bad....

Consecutive, or over a course a set amount of time?

I wish there was a way to get rid of my Exalted prefix without getting warned or banned.
I liked my Intrepid look better.

It's impossible for an automated system to judge helpfulness and the quality of your grammar. For one, helpfulness is subjective. It would be a -blam!- and a half to program, and even then it wouldn't be representative of actual helpfulness. Grammar and spelling would take YEARS to program into an automated system, and say for example they decided to go that route. What if someone types an acronym ? Perhaps even if someone referenced another user who's name isn't a proper word ? What if someone you quote misspelled words ? It's a highly unlikely system. In fact i believe it's safe to say that it's not what they use to determine trust.

But, maybe if you go back down to the Intrepid prefix, you might lose your Mythic base title.

I think you should be able to choose what you want, so if you where a old Mythic member you could either choose from Exalted Mythic Member, or Fabled Mythic Member, or Senior Mythic Member.

All counter-arguments to evolution are based on a gross misunderstanding of the theory.

I went from "Intrepid Member" to "Intrepid Legendary Member" in a flash.

Did it broke?

I see more Legendary members then Heroic members. People from Late 08 are now Legendary.

I skipped Heroic though...
That's why I'm confused.

EDIT:
And my last ban was in January this year.

Six months is a enough time for you to get your ban scar healed. I'm guessing that your active. So for you to go from Member to Legendary isn't to far fetched.
Iggy went from Member to Mythic in one jump.

Is the number of Mythic Members at one time still 200?

I remember that, I was surprised.
I don't know, I don't keep track of these things to be honest.

A few of us came up with a theory a little over a year ago that tries to explain why there are so many title changes at the beginning of each month. So far, there hasn't really been any evidence that goes against this theory, although it only has observations as backing evidence.

The system must be more forgiving then I thought, I was expecting to be Heroic sometime towards December.

What baffles me is that I've been here for sometime, and I'm yet to hit Mythic once. The last time I had a ban was Jan 09. Have I not recovered from that yet?

I don't think it's your ban, maybe it's just that all the 200 mythic members are holding their titles firmly. (assuming the maximum number of mythic members allowed is 200)

My guess is that you haven't been consistently active since the creation of your account, or your last ban was a very severe one.

Going back to my former guess; I've noticed that there are many users with very old accounts with relatively low base titles, despite not being banned a lot or at all. I think that the system really only counts your "years active" towards your title.

For example, say a person has an account that is 5 years old, but they've only been posting on if consistently for a year. More often than not, they will have a low base title instead of the expected higher base title than an account who has been active for all 5 of those years would have. Have you been consistently active for every year your account has been around?

Around 3 of those years. But I get where your coming from, it only counts the "active years" not the account age. It would make sense that way.

Let's say someone has been active for 5 years, but they are still Legendary because the Mythic list is filled up. That isn't fair.
