"I wonder how much blood you can lose from superficial wounds before you die."

"A hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him."
-Believe

All counter-arguments to evolution are based on a gross misunderstanding of the theory.

What baffles me is that I've been here for sometime, and I'm yet to hit Mythic once. The last time I had a ban was Jan 09. Have I not recovered from that yet?

I don't think it's your ban, maybe it's just that all the 200 mythic members are holding their titles firmly. (assuming the maximum number of mythic members allowed is 200)
Let's say someone has been active for 5 years, but they are still Legendary because the Mythic list is filled up. That isn't fair.

I just based that on him telling me that there is only 200 Mythic Members allowed.

It's all theories right now, no one really knows how this thing works.

Best Post Ever.

When you get banned, you lose one level of your forum rank. I am friends with Obi Wan Stevobi, and I have seen him drop in his ranks by one level with each of his warnings or bans he has received. That is what causes you to lose your forum rank. As with me, I constantly change my WLID, so I have new Bnet accounts all the time. I could care less about forum rank when it means nothing in the first place. But therein, you have your answer.

Well yes getting banned or warned will most likely make you drop a rank, but also not being active for a while will reduce trust points and eventually you will drop a rank, but you are able to gain trust points faster until you reach that rank again.

I wish there was a way to get rid of my Exalted prefix without getting warned or banned.
I liked my Intrepid look better.

>_>
I think you should be able to choose what you want, so if you where a old Mythic member you could either choose from Exalted Mythic Member, or Fabled Mythic Member, or Senior Mythic Member.

Agreed.
I've brought this up in the past in this thread, but I thought I'd bring it up again for the sake of different minds reading this and giving out some different opinions on the matter.

I'm wondering if I could ask one of the moderators for a slight warning just to shrug off my Exalted prefix.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather not intentionally break the rules and earn a ban just to get rid of a prefix that I'm a little OCD about, you know?

You could just try PMing a mod requesting a ban/warning.

Hmmm, maybe.
But then I'd be almost guaranteed to lose the Mythic title, most likely.
Then again, I don't really know how harsh a warning can be on your title itself.

Getting a warning shouldn't effect your mythic status to much since it's primarily effected by been active, but a warning should get rid off the Exalted because it is required to have no warnings or bans. (hypothetically based on what people have figured out about the system)

You probably have your reasons but exalted is the Top level prefix and hardest to get I don't no why you would want to lose it :P

I bet you my left kidney that you'll keep your blue bar after a single warning, but lose your exalted prefix.

Sorry for the outburst then. :P I'm sure there are more than 200 Mythic members. A title shouldn't have a cap on how many can be there. Otherwise, they should have a pre-prefix. :P Like, for example:

Pre Exalted Mythic Member. Compared to Exalted Mythic Member. xD

Better yet, let say someone had Exalted, and they got Intrepid. I'm willing to bet someone would go "FUUUUUU" right then.

Why not PM an employee to get the webteam to change it to a person's desired style? I'm sure no one wants a warning or a ban. This is a very unlikely chance, but hey, someone might as well try it, right?

Well if you want to do that, then I suggest just asking Achronos to see if he can change your rank.

Hey, I was just wondering can you loose your "heroic" status, if you're not active for a day or so? Cause that's what happened to me, it's not that important to me, but I'm just slightly curious as to why I lost it.

I lost my Legendary Status yesterday, but it's because of trust points. Relying on age alone isn't so good. But maybe you were on the edge of being a Heroic and regular member.

I kinda rely on age.

I don't post that often anymore, and I've kept my title, so I'm guessing that the fact my 3yr anniversary coming up is helping me, or I post in groups more than I think I do.

Depends on your activity in the forums, groups, and Bungie events.

  • 06.06.2010 11:22 AM PDT

I very active in forums, im in a lot of groups and I have been in some bungie events and have not been banned in over a year.

What exactly did I do to warrant being a fabled member?

If anything, my activity on here has declined severely lately. I have not been on very much at all, as reflected in my post history.

So, why did I all of a sudden jump from intrepid to fabled?

Normally, I wouldn't pay attention to my title, as it is worthless after all, but this is a curiosity of mine.

I'm guessing you still have around 1 or 2 months left of activity until you go up a step to Heroic, although it doesn't really mean anything.

Well most likely you will get promoted maybe in a few weeks or months, it takes time to get ranked up on Bungie.net and that's what I love about it.
