Does being a Bungie pro member help?

It might, but that would be pretty unfair, people with an abundance of money are able to basically buy a member title. I doubt it effects your member status, though.
Money sets things in motion. Besides, you don't need an abundance to save ten dollars up for a year.

It wouldn't effect you title at all, as the member said that would mean you could buy you title!

The system isn't based on life morals, it's based on trust. It probably has a small effect, but not enough to just boost you up a title level(unless you're on the verge).

It's like if the Fanta girls and the the cast of Girls gone Wild participated in a remake of Labyrinth that takes place in a crackhouse version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory where the sugar is cocaine, the candy is crystal meth, and the chocolate is LSD*takes a breath*and the goblin king became the gummy bear king.

Well it takes a while for the system to recognize your flooded posting, and also sometimes the system looks for long and good quality post, (some of your post could be classified as spam to the system, but otherwise keep up the activity and you should get your rank soon).

Mine is 50+. X_X I'm surprised I don't have Intrepid yet. Anyways, yeah. You should suggest a better upgraded one with a Pie Chart and all.

The title system rewards consistency over long periods of time. From what I've seen most of those who have obtained an activity prefix didn't do it by having a high PPD, but rather they were just consistently active at a moderate level for a decent number of months.

All this discussion surrounding PPD numbers is really quite irrelevant. It's been pointed out by many members multiple times that there is only a weak correlation between high public PPD counts and high base titles. How else can one explain the fact that there are so many Mythic members with "low" public PPD counts, and how "normal" members being unable to obtain an elevated title despite posting 100 times a day?

There's a much bigger picture to be seen here. People need to keep in mind that "activity" is not just limited to posting in the public forums, and that one's join date is probably the largest factor in determining their title.

It definitely has to do with consistancy. I've seen a Mythic member with a 1.0 PPD. His account was only 3 years old, though. So he must have been active nearly every day for 3 years.

The Intrepid and Fabled titles are from Post Count, not Post Per Day.

So overall post count, not just your daily average.

poor ilitch

I noticed that the ranks regarding warnings/bans (Honorable, Noble, Exalted) seem to be a little wierd. I had a 3-day ban on the Halo 3 forum back around July-August last year I believe, yet the system still gave me the Honorable status after a year yesterday =). I wonder if the system ignores/recognizes less slighty the minor offences if they only occur once?

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Read the OP, the Honorable/ Noble prefix's aren't as clear as some of the other ones.

But it's not your posts per day, it's your average post count. Start reading up before you say anything about the system. And You'd have to be Intrepid before Fabled anyway.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Bump up your activity. Any warnings or bans? That could be a reason if so.

Sometimes the system waits. The system wants to see if you can keep up with activity and post smart, that is the most logical answer. Just wait a few more weeks/months and your rank shell be achieved.

However, I've been active since January '09 and I've been posting moderately (About 10-20) per day, even during school. My join date was about... Two years ago. I just started getting active in groups this month as well.

Sergent, if you want Intrepid then get banned. You will be forced onto that title if you consistantly post in provite groups during your ban. I think.
