I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I'm convinced the system is based upon how consistent you are, in addition to how many posts you actually make. I ranked up to Legendary with an estimated average of 1.5-2 posts per day, if that.
I'm not very consistent at all. I post actively in bursts and go on inactive streaks.

Kind of the same for me, except I activate my auto-reply and leave for 2 days and go down to Heroic... And all the people I don't know go up.

Halo 2 was the first game that got me into online playing. First and last game was on Turf, I lost the first game, but won my last. I played exactly 1,750 games, and more than 30 the very last day. Thanks a bunch Bungie for the awesomeness you have bestowed!

wow, i never knew. I was a noble member and I did something stupid so now I have to wait a year before leaving my peon membership. harsh system, but like I have rights. play nice :)

A year or maybe less, it depends on how you post and how much you post.

I suggest posting more and post better quality post, then depending on your last ban you should get promoted (It usually takes a year from your last ban to get ranked up).

1. Honorable - No bans/warnings in about 1 year. If banned/warned, you may or may not keep the title, depending on length/number of bans. SourceTricky...I got a 3-day ban and got unbanned by a moderator and lost Honorable ever since. I don't even know if Intrepid is better or not.

Also, do you often get promoted on anniversaries?

EDIT: Stupid, I'm on the wrong profile, I was referring to this one.

That was my one and only ban in my history with Bungie.net. I have gotten no warnings.

But I've been away a couple of times, I don't think my title ever changed at those times though.

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

Two warnings for the same thing about 70 days ago and I still have not gone back to legendary or heroic. :/

If you read the OP, they usually require a year or more of no bans to get anything.

That is pretty far from the truth, as I've seen older accounts recover a decent amount from a warning / blacklist immediately after it is over with. In the context of the base titles, the OP's description of the time frame requirements are for account age, not "time since last ban / warning".

To ConstantC4RN4GE: From what I've seen, warnings have around a 4 month recovery period on average, but keep in mind that there is a huge amount of uncertainty in my observations since I know there are many unseen factors at work. Receiving two of them most likely extends that time a decent amount as well. It really shouldn't matter though as your title will eventually change if you play nice long enough. You're only making it more difficult for yourself if you're constantly thinking about it.

Intrepid and Fabled relate to total post count. That is why we see so many people in this thread that have a very high amount of ppd but no activity prefix.

it seems like posting in a thread that caused the OP to be banned makes me lose trust points.

if your a noble member then wouldnt that mean you qualify to be a heroic or legendary member?

EDIT:
over further review of my post history, i have found out that i have some time here and there where combined equals close to a year of inactivity. so im guessing that if you have a couple months of inactivity resulting you to become an Absent member then you have to restart the heroic or legendary status again.but that is my theory/conclusion. hopefully that answers someones question.

It takes a real person to restrain themselves.

I don't know what "rank" I am. I was a Heroic member and then last that title after I went into a long slumber from Bnet. :P

I got honorable member before I went into another slumber, though. I guess I'll use this to see if I have a "rank" or not. :P

It appears I went into noble. Now I just have to look up what that means.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

I'm Honorable Legendary.

Noble is related to Ban History. Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic is based on activity.

Yeah, i kinda figured that out. but the reason why i thought they might be related is because noble says "active member for 2 years" and for heroic it says "active member for about 6-12 months" and legendary it says "active member for about 1-2 years". see where i made the connection.

I think i was a heroic member b4 but now im a normal member. (i might have just been a honorable member i cant remember, it has been a while). but anyways do you think my theory could be write or wrong? i need an opinion.

How long does it take to recover from a 7 day ban and a 3 day ban?

I think it's around 2-3 months (3 day), and maybe 5-6 months for a 7 day. Although, honestly, I have no idea how long it is.

Sounds about right. It really depends on the user, imo.

If you've been around forever, you'll bounce back pretty quickly.

Same here, apparently not posting for a day makes you lose your heroic rank (or any other rank that is affected by how active you are).
