All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity.

I'm convinced the system is based upon how consistent you are, in addition to how many posts you actually make. I ranked up to Legendary with an estimated average of 1.5-2 posts per day, if that.
I'm not very consistent at all. I post actively in bursts and go on inactive streaks.

Same here, apparently not posting for a day makes you lose your honorable rank (or any other rank that is affected by how active you are).

I don't think it does. |: It's just based on consistency, I think.
Honorable, btw, is ban related. not activity related.

How long does it take to recover from a 7 day ban and a 3 day ban?
I think it's around 2-3 months (3 day), and maybe 5-6 months for a 7 day. Although, honestly, I have no idea how long it is.

If you read the OP, it's usually a year or more for large bans, although probably much smaller for warnings. From the OP's post on Base Titles, I'd probably say around or less than the posted requirement of join date, so probably 6-12 months or less. For example, I returned to Heroic from Member on my last ban in much shorter than that. I'd guess it was about 1 or 2 months, but I can't remember since it was a while back.

Does any one think that Trust points increase on Bungie Day, this could happen.

Tom is correct. This thread has turned into crap. I blame myself partly for not keeping up with it, but this thread isn't for people to glorify themselves by saying "oh, i went up in title" or "how many ppd's do I have?" or "The best member is ___" or general spam. It's about discussion towards the title system.

Anything not relevant to the thread after my post will be subject to inspection, and a ban may be issued.
I think it's an interesting subject...

Hmm, I'm a few days away from my 2 year Membership, I wonder if I'll witness proof of this "Noble" change.

You will, I got mine the day of my two year anniversary.

I got mine wining 24 hours of reaching 2 years, so it'll probably happen for you as well.

I did get a Warning about 19-ish Months ago, I wonder if that will delay it, instead putting me at Intrepid rather than Noble.

I had noble for two weeks then I received my first ban :(. Still can't get a heroic title though.

Well your ban is the reason why you are not able to get your Heroic title. You just have to wait (max a year) to get ranked up, I suggest you post smart and stay active.

What was the severity of the ban? If it was only a 3 day, it usually wears off in about 3 months. So if you stay active throughout all of that and follow all the rules, you should be Heroic in no time.

  • 07.01.2010 7:13 AM PDT

Well, it seems that I've posted enough to get my intrepid. I just noticed it, so I don't know the exact time I got it, but searching my name on Google gave me about 10,000 results, so I'm guessing you get intrepid when you near that margin.

  • 07.01.2010 9:31 AM PDT

I got banned for a week last year which ended on December 7th, and I lost my Fabled Legendary Status.

Since then, it's taken me 206 days to get back to Fabled Legendary. Given the thousands of posts I've made during this period of time I think it's safe to say that post count has nothing to do with anything other than the Intrepid and Fabled Prefix.

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

I got two warnings for the same thing a little over two months ago. I just got my Legendary title back.

My assumption is that one warning puts a damper on your title for one month. Two would be two months, just a thought.

Well most members get ranked up on the first of the month, this would probably be the biggest reason.

Well, it seems like that ban effected you for 6-7 months.
