I'm confused as to how I'm Honorable. I was warned a while back, banned for a week in the summer last year, and I achieved honorable at my one year mark. I'm pretty active, (300 posts from the end of May this year), yet I'm still not Heroic. My accounts from April 2008, so are there more specifications for Heroic, or am I rank locked from my ban or something?

  • 07.02.2010 2:52 PM PDT

No I don't think title is lock it possible that you have been inactive at times and the system is waiting for you to increase your activity.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

You just aren't active enough. Have you joined, posted and participated in groups? Have you posted a certain amount of times in the Bnet forums? It all depends on your activity. Based from what you stated, you had about 300 posts dated back to May. That isn't really active compared to other Heroics I see who have theirs from two weeks ago.

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

From what I've noticed, activity as in posting really doesn't do a ton. Consistency signing in and such seems to be more. Look at my previous posts. My 300th post back is from April. I don't post a lot. By most of the theories posting actively raises your bar, but by that I should just be a member.

  • 07.02.2010 4:21 PM PDT

I think it says this some where in the OP but it says logging on everyday and posting a few times is all you need.

Can it be confirmed if posts in private groups count toward your PPD? I post in private groups more than I do in the public forums, so I've been thinking that maybe my private group posts aren't even helping me get intrepid status. Can anyone confirm that knows for sure/can prove it?

  • 07.02.2010 4:54 PM PDT

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

As long as it is tested accordingly. But dont ask me to play the system.

I would say private groups are unrelated to your prefix.
but that's just me

I believe so too.

It seems being active in Private groups has no effect on your title.

I'm so over all of this.

If it doesn't count towards your prefix, then your prefix must rely solely on your overall post history. Whether it's your last 300 or however many it is, or your history since joining. I haven't posted enough in the last 8 months or so to be considered "Fabled" IMO. I post a hell of a lot in Private Groups, but my main forum posting is at somewhat of a minimal.

Do you think having my account on auto-sign in (password and name saved), affects anything, like my sign in not counting each day?

Achronos has stated that you shouldn't do that for security reasons.

The most recent example.

Otherwise, why would it affect that? You have to enter the browser and visit the site. That's activity.

Well, it's been my 2 year anniversary here as a Member for 5 minutes and I still haven't gone up to "Noble". I think that 1 Warning I got must've effected it. It's like 19 Months old.

I wonder if I'll skip over to "Intrepid" instead since I can't get "Noble". We'll see later.

I believe the bans and warnings make it harder to earn trust points.

His average PPD is 33.33, that's pretty high. Now, only to determine what the line is for Intrepid.

Isn't "Intrepid" and "Fabled" prefixes based on overall post count not your PPD?

Don't animals have free will? They are free too make choices as well?

I wish it would take time spent in the forums instead of number of posts since I rarely reply since what I was going to say had already been said.

Also, I've been a member for 2.5 years now. I'm also fairly certain I've been active. I check Bnet every weekday for the blog and the forums every other day. I post pretty rarely though. I have lots of posts on certain days, like today for example. Should I be legendary/mythic?

Note: I have been banned once for three days and have had zero warnings. Also, some of my posts over the first year and a half may have not have been the most intelligent.

I'm pretty sure moderators or employees can add to your little rank meter level thingy just a bit, deciding if your threads or posts are the best.

But your PPD is .51, which means you prolly need to get that up to at least 3 before you get a rank up, I guess.

Mine used to be 7+, now it's about 3. Somehow I was member for 2 years, got Heroic 2 months ago, and then Legendary now, which is odd, considering I was actually less active the last 2 months than I was before I got Heroic.

Anyway, I'd say it's just an activity thing.

Also, I'm theorizing groups count, a little.

Well, I am fairly active and post around 30x a day, so Intrepid would be surprising for me. I've seen Members who have been here for a year 1/2 and already have Fabled.

Not that it matters anymore since I got my Noble prefix.

0_0 Fairly?

Anyways, I think my problem with switching to Legendary and then back to Heroic in a weekly occasion are finally done. Hopefully I'll stay Legendary, as I have been for quite a while.

Feel free to send me messages, please be willing to wait 6-8 years for a reply.

1-7 hours if you at least tried to make it readable.

Immediately if you are Yax, Telec, or legendary.

Never if you are mythic, you guys smell funny.

I honestly dont think the guide can be right, iv been here nearly two years, never been banned and im still only honorable.

Late '08s are getting Legendary. I'd say it's fair to say that the account age factor is less.

Time has nothing to do with it, it's all about activity. Time is only a minor factor, and by time i mean time being active.
