Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

Time factors into how long you have to wait for a title to be open. The Legendary title isn't open in about one year and a couple months or so. If you've reached the required time you still should be active and responsible to gain the title, it doesn't just come with waiting.

Late '08s are getting Legendary. I'd say it's fair to say that the account age factor is less.

Where's mine then?

Probably your ban record is affecting it.

  • 07.03.2010 11:00 AM PDT

Bans, activity, date joined and warnings should be a factor on when you go up.

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

Does posting in a thread that gets locked have an effect on your trust rating, that anyone knows of? Just a side thought that occurred to me.

I lost my Heroic Member due to a Forum Warning from Duardito... However, my question is, should I be able to recover it soon or that means I need to keep active for 5 more months?

I've posted in may locked treads in the Flood.

My Exalted is still standing, so no.
No negative effect on your title/prefix after a lock.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Pretty much. The reason a thread is locked (Mine are because people come in there to flame anyways) is because someone is breaking the rules. Let's say the OP made a thread and all of a sudden, it is derailed and turned into a flame war. Does the OP lose trust? Probably not.

Let's say an innocent poster makes a post in there just before it turns into a flame war. Does that poster lose trust? Probably not. Only people who broke the rules in that thread will lose trust.

That is how well you've behaved in general. Youve received no warnings or bans, if Im not mistaken? In which case you're low activity accounts for you not being a Heroic or Legendary member.

Have you post a lot, no ban/warnings what so ever, or been previously dishonest from Bungie's employee?

Without that, you would have some promotion.

I suppose Rellik's proposition is correct, for the most part. My account is a mid/late '07 and I have yet to achieve higher than Heroic due to certain bans from a while back and from lurking more than posting.

Though, I would think that as long as one is able to contribute and stay active, a higher title should not be out of reach.

My account was created in the late '07 too, and I have few (not most) warnings, two bans, and I'm legendary member after all these years of being active.

Sounds like me. You'll prolly be Mythic soon then at that rate.
I mean, I've got three bans and, I think, 4 warnings but I'm still Mythic. Just I'm had the account longer is all.

Though, Burrito, I'd like to point out that the your number of post (per day and overall) seems to be very high. That, I assume, would have a positive effect on your Trust, thus helping you to gain Trust and rank up faster since you're a very contributive member.

I've had this account since early 2009 and I am a Honorable member with one ban and one warning.

That may be true, but I haven't post in the forum for awhile, being afraid of being banned from Nedus. I'm extremely active in the clan, which explains why I have the Fabled prefix attached to my title.

Burritosenior averages only about 33 posts a day. In a way that could affect his trust points gained, but really he just posts a lot and follows the rules and has a very long history here on Bungie.net.

His account age is approximately 1552 Days. That's a long time here.

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

I really like TOM T117's theory on Trust Points...

It really makes me suspicious...
