Does anyone know if there's more of a trust boost for longer, more thought out posts?
Achronos said a while back that post quality was accounted for in some way. So longer posts might have an effect. People seem to think that post quality couldn't be measured by length because if someone quoted a long post, the system would think that person had made a long post. But perhaps it somehow doesn't count anything in quote boxes?
Maybe grammar and spelling effects the trust of your post in some way too? It would certainly make sense if it did.
But Bungie does have a spell checker on the website, as evidenced a few weeks ago. Perhaps it's used for more than we think it is?
(Also, off-topic, but your Coup still says "Exalted Heroic Member")
Think about it. It would make sense if the system rewarded users more for thinking out their post and using grammar. One reason for this would be it's easier on the eyes, and another reason would be that it would encourage people to write, for the most part, grammatically correct. It would decrease the number of threads where you see absolutely no full stops, or "you," replaced with "u." It's much harder to read a long post void of grammar as appose to one where grammar is used on a frequent basis. For me, anyway.
