Do you think that having people post in your thread (Meaning more the better) the better it is for your rating i.e trust? Reason I bring this up is, -blam!- yeah heroiczzz beaches!

Posted by: Viva la Vache Well you have to get an Heroic member before you get Legendary. So the warning that you got recently will effect a lot, just keep post good quality post everyday. (You should get a new title soon, if you don't get banned/warned)

I received one warning a couple of weeks ago for commenting on a troll thread. Only one I've gotten, ever. Thanks for the info. Any idea of how many posts/time on boards that it takes for your base title to change? It just seems strange that i've been pretty active, am a Noble Member, but my base title has yet to ever change.

You're active, but you post sporadically and inconsistently. For example, you have a post on 6/16, a post on 6/17, and then it jumps to 7/7, where you have a bunch of posts. And after that, you didn't post until 7/12. You need to post consistently to get a new title.

Ahh... thanks for the clarification. I thought that may be the case, but i wasn't sure, or couldn't get confirmation.

I think so. I got Legendary a day after I posted a thread with 3 pages that had a poll with 150+ votes.

It may do, I have not got a clue though as I don't really create threads, I reply in stead.

What qualifies as an "active" member, I've been pretty much posting since Reach was announced.

Also are titles automatically given or are they distributed by ninjas and employees?

  • 09.01.2010 2:57 PM PDT

The titles are automaticlly given.
Your Account Age: 638 Days, your Post Per Day is 30. Theres only one question.. have you been banned or warned?

Titles are given automatically, yes, through a complex formula that only Achronos/the webteam knows.

You're definitely an active poster, but have you been posting this much/close to this much for a long time now? And have you been banned before?

...Yes... =X

How long is the ban going to stay with me and how much will they effect my "trust" rating?

Off topic QQ: I got banned once for quoting someone flaming an OP by saying "drink bleach", and I changed his post to "drink bleach and watch twilight" as an obvious joke. I realize this was right after Forman posted the "play nice" sticky in the Reach forums and had the ninjas crack down on people with 7 day bans, but still, I just said edited someone's post to say watch Twilight as punishment... -_-

I didn't bother for an appeal though, I was technically attacking the OP... I guess =P

How many times and when?
Twice within the last month within TWO days of eachother, first one was for posting a "cOLD" spam if that makes any difference for the severity.

Also made an edit to my second post here.

By the way, I still am seeing "search bar", "insanely idiodic" and other flames with no action taken, wtb better report bar.

Ahh well, because of them you will have to wait a while at least 3 - 4 months for them to wear off, and thats with your activity!

Hurp. I was on Bungie.net two days ago, I was still an ordinary member, now I check today, and I'm Legendary. I skipped out Heroic completely.

A bunch of people skip titles at the beginning of each month, and I'm pretty sure that's because the negative trust influencers on bans/warnings are lifted on the first day of each month. The severity of your ban determines the length of how long you have to wait until the negative trust influencer wears off.

Positive vibes.

Well is it true that they normally update ranks at the beginning of each month?

This happened August 1st and July 1st from what I can remember. A bunch of members, including me, gained either a new prefix, title, or both.

First day of the month, yet no Mythic. (I wonder if the new hawtness will effect titles/prefixes?)

I don't understand how that kind of thing happens. I thought it was strange when I practically skipped Heroic (I had it for only a month and a half).

Have you done anything different lately? Not been banned in a while, become a lot more active, founded a group, etc?

Perhaps, although I doubt it. Maybe a new prefix or something (one for being here 7+ years?) if we're lucky.

I remember you saying that you had been away for a long while; how long ago and how long were you away?

Oh ok thanks

@ Deathtrap: I haven't been banned for at least 6 months, but apart from that, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary.

It just really depends on how Active you are in the forums, just stay real active, and post good quality posts, and you should get Heroic pretty soon.

Well I have made about three accounts on Bungie.net, and about five months ago I started using this account again as my official account. (Over the years I signed into this account and posted one or two post) Everyday for five months I have posted at least eight post on this account. (So right now I am just wondering when I will get my Mythic title)

I'm sure you'll get Mythic sooner than other Legendaries, but since you've only been posting actively for 5 months it might take a little longer than the time between Heroic and Legendary.

I haven't been banned before, and I haven't scene another person with my status acquired in less than a year of joining, but the thread here says that it is a norm...
