Take a step back with me and enjoy a taste of the bittersweet that is our current generation.

I enjoy Battlefield and Call of Duty, and Gears of War.

I love anything political.

Stay active, post daily in the forums, create threads, and do stuff like that until you re-earn the title. Make sure you are following the rules.

I honestly don't think hot topics really gain you an extra trust points or anything. You could get a hot topic going by simply making a troll post, and having a bunch of people post flaming you. Hot topic =/= a quality topic. Granted, most troll topics get banned, but some can slip through the system.

I really agree.

I guess I just really disagree for the reasons I already posted.

I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

I wonder if having a thread that "stays alive" for long periods of times will help you gain trust points. For instance, I have a thread in the Halo 2 forum that's one of the top forum topics, so I wonder if I get rewarded with trust points since the thread is still alive many months after I made it.

This is just a thought, since hot topics may help you gain trust, it seems that hot topics that people post in for long amounts of time may also give the OP of the thread extra trust points. Thoughts?

The same thing happened to me when I first got heroic. I would have it for a few weeks then lose it, this happened for a few months before I eventually stayed heroic.

Thats cool, I went negative 8

Oh, now i get it so its a time/being not warned type deal, cool. So whats a high post rate like 10 a day or something?

  • 10.04.2010 3:19 PM PDT

Think before you post

How badly to warning affect base titles? Was warned twice about 2 months apart each.

  • 10.04.2010 3:21 PM PDT

I'd like to be half-man half-tree in an octopus' garden in the shade.

It all depends on how close you are to the next title. Someone who's almost Legendary when they're warned might regain Heroic in a week, while someone who just turned Mythic might not regain their title for a few months after being warned.

Well isn't Honorable/Heroic available after 6-12 months? So I'd say I was either halfway or a quarter way the Honorable.

I think if a members has 300 post they should get them at the same time.

300 posts isn't a lot! 300 is the max that "last forum post" thing will go up to.

Hmm I lost Mythic for the second time in like a month. I wonder what the reasoning behind this is? I obviously didn't get warned or banned since I still have the Noble prefix. Also, I've been as active as I always am, hell I was more active today than I usually am. Any idea what this could be?

I'm in that position now. I've gained/ lost heroic about 2-3 times in as many weeks. Most days I post, but some are just too busy.

EDIT: Oh hey, it's back, I definitely did not have that an hour ago. I wasn't aware they changed so quickly.

Maybe you have been getting a bunch of reports, just stay active and post good quality post everyday and you should get your mythic back soon.

Never thought of that. I don't think I've posted anything worth reporting, though. I'm sure I'll get it back eventually, it's just strange how I randomly lose it sometimes.

My best guess is that when previously banned members gained the trust boost at the beginning of the month, it placed other members with a higher rating than you bumping them up and you down.

I'm still stunned how I managed to get Heroic Member on this account considering it's been banned at least 20+ times. I guess it has to do with the fact that I haven't been banned in 3 or 4 months and it's a relatively old account. It will be interesting to see if I can get Legendary in the next 6 months.
