Some people jump between titles once they've achieved them. Just stay active and the title will return.

Well I highly doubt it from getting reported but you never know, also people could of just reported you randomly.

Maybe you have been getting a bunch of reports, just stay active and post good quality post everyday and you should get your mythic back soon.

Hmm I lost Mythic for the second time in like a month. I wonder what the reasoning behind this is? I obviously didn't get warned or banned since I still have the Noble prefix. Also, I've been as active as I always am, hell I was more active today than I usually am. Any idea what this could be?

Never thought of that. I don't think I've posted anything worth reporting, though. I'm sure I'll get it back eventually, it's just strange how I randomly lose it sometimes.

Because of that reason, I doubt that being reported takes any Trust away at all. I remember seeing a Thread that discussed this awhile back, and it makes sense. It's not fair people can just report you and you lose Trust, you can report anybody, I can report you right now, and you don't even deserve to lose anything.

This is true, he could of just lost his title for something else. Maybe he was not posting in private groups that much. (if that has a big effect on Tp's)

Maybe its that the other Mythic members have been more active than you therefore having a higher trust than you, then because of that your boarderline Mythic/Legendary? I think a huge sirge of posting and activity will sort it out.

They are rated very high by the trust system. If they go long enough, I imagine that they would lose mythic eventually.

Is Shishka even mythic under that gold?

Has anyone verified if logging into your account everyday, instead of staying logged in, contributes towards trust?

I tried it once, and it didn't seem to make a difference. But it's not like we can tell anyway.

Take a step back with me and enjoy a taste of the bittersweet that is our current generation.

I enjoy Battlefield and Call of Duty, and Gears of War.

20 years old, manager of my family's business, aspiring officer of the law.

I love anything political.

I was heroic for 3 weeks, it disappeared yesterday, and I regained it again today. I must be borderline.

Yep. And assuming that there can still only be so many users with Heroic/Legendary/Mythic, someone may have risen in trust enough to take your spot as Heroic, but dropped back down, or someone else vacated a Heroic slot.

I switched my login settings from "Save E-mail and Password" to "Save E-Mail". A couple days later, I got Legendary.

Might not mean a thing, but I'd say that it helps your trust, even if in a small way.

I do not really think something like that would make a big difference. It may make a small difference but how does it affect your involvement with the site? Those are the things that I would guess effect your title.

I don't think the amount of time you are signed in gets factored, then people will just idle. I think it is just, did you sign in...yes or no.

With auto-sign in, anyone can access your account, as long as they are at your computer. That's not a safe account, and accounts that are safe are more trustworthy, since there's a lesser chance that your account could be taken from you.

I guess I confused myself, I was thinking number of posts effected the title, but titles seem to be solely based on trust and length of time you have been a member. Prefixes are based on your account age but are also based on post count(activity). (Thinking out loud.)

I think the number of post to number of reported posts or things like number of threads to locked threads, the ratios specifically, can influence trust points.

I think it would affect the trust rating, since it has a solid way to track how active you are. If you sign in twice a day, you could be considered more active then someone who just leaves everything saved.

They can still tell how often you visit the site even with "Save Password" on. You're still signing in, just automatically.

I think that some kind of ratio like this does play a role in your trust points, minus the part about reported posts. Other then that I agree with that.

Problem with reported posts is anyone can report a post for any reason, and effect your trust for no reason at all,

The only tiem the report button is accualty useful when it completely obvious the post in is need of reporting. As others have said, some people report for no reason.
