So taking this from the TP (trust point) theory's, I keep switching titles. Either I am a Exalted Legendary or a Exalted Heroic, now I try to post about 8 post a day and I have been posting that amount for the last past year. It says that you get TP's if you are on and active everyday, but you also loose TP's if you are not active, well am I loosing TP's every "like" hour I do not post. How else would I be switching titles? (I got my Legendary title about 2 months ago)

Maybe you need to be more active, more than just the main forums. Private groups seem to help a lot with gaining/maintaining new titles.

I actually think you are playing tug of war with some one else right now. My theory is that you and person x have nearly the same amount of trust points (an incredibly small difference between the two), and you are both on the border line of Legendary. So when you have Legendary, you have more TP then him, but then he posts, earning more then you, and he takes your title, and then you post, taking his titles, and so on.

But this is only a valid theory if you believe that there is a cap on how many people can have specific titles. Though this would make sense seeing as what is happening with you.

Sweet, I've always wanted to be Legendary!

On another note, I haven't been posting much recently and I slipped down to ugly bright Grey Bar. (No offense)

Bet you anything I'll get Blue back sometime tomorrow, just for information's sake.

Same, I'll probs fall to Heroic..

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

it seems that to keep Mythic status, there are underlying requirements and circumstances that need to be in check. I got my Blue bar back after 2 days of posting consistently.

As for the Cap theory, this has happened before, remember there was an Upper Mythic limit initially, and this theory may still hold plausible for Legendary too, albeit a much higher number.

Mine did this for about 4 months. I wouldn't post over the weekend, get into work on Monday and I'd be legendary. Post a couple times on Monday... mythic on Tues.

Eventually it'll settle in. ;)

There used to be comparisons used in the title system, there isn't now. Whatever the trust value that determines mythic is, it's static.

I assume I will be Mythic soon. I was set back last December, I received my one and only ban over the last 4 years. If it wasn't for that, I would have it. My 5 years will be in January so I'm assuming maybe Senior Mythic Member then? We shall see.

Which means if you start being more active you will shoot up rather quickly.

ONLY THE PENITENT MAN SHALL PASS!

My title randomly went from heroic to regular, despite not getting banned or warned and I have been posting regularly the past two weeks. It has almost certainly been asked before, but why did this happen?

Edit: Sorry, totally ignorant to some of the things said on this forum and didn't realise this kind of question wasn't appreciated. The ranking system is awfully strange is so many ways, I'll just have to live in confusion for now.

Same thing is happening to me right now with legendary and the same thing happened with heroic. From my experience when you obtain a new title you tend to lose and regain it for no apparent reason for the first couple of months. After a while if you stay active, you'll keep your title.

I got a 3 day ban and still have Honorable.
If you've been exceptionally good for a while, or just not been banned for a long enough time, you can possible retain your Honorable/Noble prefix even if you have been banned or warned. I retained my Honorable prefix after being warned.
