I would love to be a mythic.

I was Mythic for a week back in June, then for a day 10-3-08. I was also inactive this weekend, so subsequently I lost it, I must definitely be borderline between Legendary and Mythic, but it's just a color and cool title. I would much rather be a ninja, but there are countless others who qualify way before I do.

On a sidenote, congratulations Duardo on your promotion!

This is what confuses me. Not that I really care, but how can I be Legendary for weeks, be actively posting every day, and than suddenly be a regular member without bans or warnings.

I wonder if in order to rank UP, you must rank DOWN. Because before I became Legendary I got deranked to Member for a day or two...'tis curious.

edit: Lol. basically, I would love to know what part of the formula allows these changes ^_^

So. I guess I was in good standing around here. My title went from Member to Heroic Member. Then, out of hopes for curving behavior of my fellow board members, I posted to two separate 'con' threads informing those that 'we don't ask for 'con' armor'... A couple days later, after serving my time at the hands of Foman for posting to such a thread, whether I was attempting to help my peers or not, my title, once more, was reset to Member.

I know, the rules were posted on the sidebar. I know, the PM's don't make the rules they simply enforce them...

What is funny about all this, is there are 100 threads now on the boards which are discussing, in various forms, Recon (as a result of the new H3 campaign game due out next fall)... Oh well... I guess.

Taxes do nothing to affect the share of wealth, since taxes are only applied to income.

So that's not even a part of the conversation at all, so it's pointless talking about it....

"for a "best" moral to exist, there must exist the "best" moral base. If the base of morality varies from location to location, culture to culture...then there can't be an absolute moral..

by now we all know that member titles are affected by being punished, and we all know that we may be punished if we make posts that violate explicitly displayed rules.

breaking the rules may very well ding one's member title. it is just that simple. and, it happens to loads of us. whether one thinks that his offense is horrible or whether in his heart he meant to help people by braking the rules is of little consequence. what does matter is that a rule was broken and that someone was punished accordingly.

Granted. However, given the name of the Bungie's new title (Halo 3: Recon) due out in the fall of 09, my being blacklisted for posting warnings to a 'con' thread is more humorous than anything.

BTW. I'm not asking to have my Heroic status reinstated. Though rules are rules, the 'con' armor rule seemed to be one of those which should have never existed.

hmm... If a sixty day card is thirty dollars, that makes WoW cost 50 cents/day. The African child I support costs me a dollar/day. Therefore 1 African child's life = 2 WoW subscriptions.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

If I ever keep Heroic for more than a couple days I'll be pissed. Thankfully, I don't think I have to worry about that.

Even though this thread is extremely long and informative, I'm still highly confused.

Well it's simple, people are stupid. And when enough stupid people gather up in one spot, other people need to make FAQ's.

None of it makes a lick of sense, but theres not much you can do.
