guys, just to point out how important linking a gamertag is.

Before: Heroic

linked.

Next day: Legendary.

Did anyone's account reset? I know I definitely signed up and linked my Gamertag to Bungie.net years ago for Halo 2 yet my registration date says April 2010!

I was inactive for a period of time but came back this past April to play Halo 2 on XBL one last time before they shut the servers off and check my stats and I guess when I logged in it reset my date or something.

I've had the same Gamertag for 7+ years and I've only changed the name once, I'm kinda disappointed I don't have my old registration...

That's pretty lame, IMO. I understand if it were like... a year of inactivity, but two months and they just delete your account?

It's too bad, I would of had a nice title if it didn't reset.

No, it's one year then it auto deletes.

I have been absent from these forums months at a time and I was never deleted.

I feel like I was not absent for an entire year, but I guess so. If I knew they just deleted your account (which I still think is silly to do at all) I would have checked in from time to time just to save my tenure.

How much does a warning affect your title? I got one today for the first time in a few months.

Not that much. I got Mythic with only 3 years and like 2 bans and 3 warnings. I actually got a warning while I was Legendary and nothing at all happened. Nothing even happened to my Honorable prefix.

It usually doesn't do too much harm to your title, if any at all.

It probably depends on how high your Trust Rating was previous to the warning.

A warning wil deffinitly put a dent in your trust points, but not as bad as a ban would.

This post was started almost three years ago but it answered my question today. How do members get those neat titles? next question - How do I get rid of the guy with the black hat and wolf like face?

I'd like to be half-man half-tree in an octopus' garden in the shade.

No warnings either?

You already have the 'best' prefix possible, so the only way you can get a new prefix is if you get banned, but I don't recommend that.

If you're talking about getting a new title (Heroic, Legendary, Mythic), then that's a lot different. You hardly post at all, your posts per day average is 0.05. If you want to get heroic, you're going to need to post much more than that. If you post at least 10 times a day (maybe less), you'll get heroic rather quickly because your account age will help you gain the title quickly.

Just become a little more active, and you should gain Heroic rather quickly.

Watch out with that robot arm, you might rip your own.. gentlemanly parts.. off.

Not bothered, but my titles been all over the shop lately. I seem to have dropped over the last few days, etc etc. All I know is I've been active for years and never remember recieving a warning. Either way, as long as I get to post my ramblings around the b.net I'm happy.
