Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Interesting, though. I'm still curious that I'm a "Veteran Member".Posted by: Phoenix9508

You may post a lot now, but how long have you been posting a lot? Over the two years I've been here, I've posted often pretty much the entire time. If you've only recently (within the last several months) started posting a lot, or if there were times where you didn't visit Bnet much, then you may have a lower total post count than you think.

If I had a custom Avatar, this is what it would look like.

So, I have a question.

See, all yesterday, I was a legendary member. But now my title has gone down to heroic. I would like to know why.

Is it because I'm between the two, so it going to switch back and forth? This question has been bugging me.

Yes you are between titles like you mentioned. Just stay active and keep posting, you will "settle" into Legendary. Mine did this awhile back.

Either your trust rating dropped low enough that the system pushed you down to Heroic, or someone else's rating went up high enough to take your spot. There are only so many spots for all the base titles other than regular members.

Did you just recently get Legendary? Sometimes when someone moves up in title, they may bounce around between the new title and the old one for a while. Keep active and behave, and you will probably move back up in a couple of weeks.

Yes, because your PPD is quite low at 4.41, and that your last 300th post was on the 8/27/2010. Its not bad but for Lgendary I think you'll need more posting say around 8 PPD+ and to log in 5 out of 7 days a week.
I'll loose my Legendary soon as my activity has dropped.

I think it has been pretty well established that a high post per day is meaningless to base titles. I've seen many regular members with 60 ppd, and many mythic members that barely make 5.

Possibly TOTAL posts is a bigger factor than PPD.

Probably. I doubt it's the deciding factor, but it must come into play. I'm sure Achronos wouldn't like the idea of someone just creating an account, posting only enough to not go absent, then getting rewarded with a higher base title. So you obviously have to be active, but your time on the site (which means more posts overall) is much more important than posting an ass load every day.

I think the PPD concept only works to determine if an account is active. I believe that there is more of a focus on total posts than PPD. That is the case at least for Intrepid and Fabled members.

Interesting beens I just signed up a little while ago I was wondering what the differnent titles meant. But I have learned from time spent on other fourms to look around and read before asking to many questions. As most likely they will be answered in the first couple of page of new post.

Be an active part of the community and you can definitely get a higher title, but do not go crazy over them. If you are a good, quality member, that is more important then a title.

Sadly, many people don't seem to realize this.

Exactly, I usually judge a member by their posts, not their title.

This is how it really should be but unfortunitly, it won't be.

Well, you have a good posts-per-day average. Have you been warned/banned during your time on the forums?

That's probably why you haven't gained a higher title yet Bans take a while to 'wear off'. Your ban might have worn off by now, so you should be able to get Heroic soon, as long as you keep following the rules and keep posting daily.
