I wonder, does having a gold live account and actually playing halo games help your title. . .

Having an Xbox Live account linked definitely helps your title, no matter whether it's silver or gold, but I'm sure it's possible that it helps more if the account is gold and/or has played Halo games.

Yeah I mean it has been suggested that it does, but I don;t think so.

We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

So basically having a gold account linked is better.

Well I herd that playing Halo on xbl gives you a better chance of ranking up. So if I where you I would have a Gold account linked to my Bungie.net account.

HACK THE PLANET!

I have heard that also. I know of people jumping in rank because of linking and unlinking.

Positive vibes.

Really? The more you play XBL, the better chance you have of ranking up on bungie.net? That's odd....

How much would being an absent member affect your quest for a heroic member? I was absent on this account for about 3 months, coming up on one year here.

I dont think it has any negative effects on titles, It might take slightly longer than usual because of lack of activity. I'm not certain on this tho. As long as you dont get any bans or warnings and keep being active, you should get it sooner or later.

Well, I'm Heroic again.
Last time I went from a Legendary to Heroic, a few days later I went back to Legendary, but had that pretty little "Intrepid" in front of it.
Lets see what happens...

Nevermind, I just went back to Legendary..

Also, I will be inactive starting February for about 3 months due to basic training.
Does anyone have any idea as to how this will affect my title?

You will probably lose Legendary due to inactivity. But no one knows that for certain. You should hold onto Intrepid.

When you don't post for 2 months your current title gets overridden with "Absent." After you start posting again, you should get your old titles back.

If having a linked GT to your Bungie.net profile is important enough, would I receive a trust point boost (possibly a title increase) by linking my GT that has two+ years of Halo gaming on it?

Probably. It might not give you an instant title increase but I would expect becoming legendary again soon.

All of this is hypothetical of course, but I do believe your correct. It won't hurt me, that's for sure.

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.

Chuck Liddell has that kind of weird, mohawk wearing, incoherent badass thing going. Frankie Edgar is like the nice guy down the street who helps you move in your furniture.

How is he a Heroic member after 4 months?
