I'd like to be half-man half-tree in an octopus' garden in the shade.

Does being inactive and then being super active effect your title in any way?

Fluctuating levels of activity generally aren't good. The system likes consistency. However, if you continue to be "super active", it'll definitely help your title in the long run.

So if I didn't post one day, but continued posting the next days, would that flucuate my activity?

Oh, you're talking about days here? If you're inactive for a few days, then come back, it barely affects your title. During the few days of inactivity you might go down a little bit in your trust level/points, but once you return it's as if nothing happened.

Yes, but you would have to keep posting to get a new title.

I posted today for the first time in 6 days, and I lost my "Heroic Exalted Member" status. Any ideas why?

P.S. I've logged in every day

Logging in isn't the only thing that shows how active you are. You need to post as well. If I had to guess your couple of days of no posting knocked your title down. Just post for a few days and you should get your title back.

  • 11.21.2010 9:23 PM PDT

But I've also gone two weeks - three weeks and still haven't lost it. Was it just this week or could I be in transition between this title and the next most active one?

I think that you have been dropping in 'Trust' all the time your not posting, so now you must be near the 'Trust' you need to get for Heroic..

for example:

Say your Trust was at 87 and then as your not posting it drops slowly until you reach the 'Member Base Title' say that is at 50, its taken a few weeks for it to go down ands everytime you post it goes up so its taken longer. Get my drift?

If posting in private groups counts toward your title, than why shouldn't PMs? They also help contribute to the community.

Nobody said they didn't. I've just never seen a mythic in no groups and no forum posts and maintains mythic by PM ;P

Is it possible to get a prefix and a title at the same time?

*Looks at own title*

Yeah. It's called a prefix for a reason.

No... I mean get them at the same time. Like your a member and then you get Honorable/Herioc at the same time.

Probably. But it's not likely because base tittles require trust points, where as pre-fixs just require time, posts and banhistory.

Question - For "Intrepid - High post count"
And "Fabled - Very high post count"
How much Posts are they? And is that excluding Private groups or just Public forums?

It includes private and public. The numbers of posts are most likely in the thousands but less then 10,000. At least for Intrepid.

Those numbers have no facts to back them up, just a general assumption of the community.

I think it is around 10,000 for Fabled because Interpid seemed about 5,000 when I had it.

If you read the theory's that the op has posted, Trust points are points that go towards your title rank. So basically when ever you post or get online etc, you get trust points added to your account. (No you can't see how many points you have)
