smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Well I'm screwed. I can't advance since I can't sign out.

1.) Being unable to sign out doesn't prevent you from getting titles.

2.) Clear your cookies, then try signing out again.

Positive vibes.

Wanting a legendary title bar isn't greedy, and I've always posted way more than 30 posts a day. I'm not going to rage if I don't get it within the next year, or anything. I was just wondering if it was even possible.

Posted by: st3althsniper22
Rascal, you always get your post count prefix back, except if you have a long ban. You got off a ban not too long ago, it's going to take you a while to get Heroic, and you're wanting Legendary. No need to get greedy. Took me 1 year and a few months after to get Legendary for the first time, and I was more than a year with no bans (only 3 3-days, last was Feb. 2009). I was more active than you, posting around 15-30 times a day for a few months.

I've been banned on numerous occasions, but I'm hoping I'll get my Heroic title soon as well. I've already been granted my Fabled title again, so you never know. And I know I probably won't get my legendary title within the next year, but I was wondering if it was possible for someone to get their legendary in just a year after they had joined.

Is it possible to become a Legendary Member in one year, or less?

Even though you are Fabled I do not believe it is possible. You should be getting Heroic soon, I would not know why you wouldn't. Unless you already had a few bans.

Well it depends how many times you have been banned/warned, just keep posting and don't get banned/warned. (You could get it in a year or so)

I've gone a few weeks without a ban, so I think I'm on the right track. I just have to keep this up, and hopefully I'll at least get my Heroic title soon.

Very welcome. I know it comes as a shock to many to see an actual 'positive' post but it helps.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of positive and helpful posts in this thread. That is what it is all about.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

Ugh, back down to Heroic for no reason; again. I swear, consistency of posting is weighted too high.

Hmmm, thats strange man, because your pretty active.

You know, I've seen members who were about to rank up fluctuate between ranks. It's a rare occurrence, but just food for thought. =)

You mean you've seen people who were fluctuating between Member and Heroic become Legendary, or people fluctuating between Heroic and Legendary become Mythic? I don't see how that would be possible unless you're coming off of a ban or something like that.

Well, I'm hoping something positive happens considering it'll be my third birthday here in 16 days.

  • 12.09.2010 2:36 PM PDT

Both, actually. Again these were rare occurrences, but they fluctuated between their previous title and their current title before ranking up.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Wanting a higher title in itself isn't greedy, but the way you keep asking is making it seem that way. Coming off of a recent ban really doesn't put you in much of a position for wanting a higher title.

Recently being freed of my ban makes me just that more inclined to try and get a higher member title. What you're saying isn't really making sense.

It honestly doesn't matter though. All I wanted to know is if it were possible for anyone to become a Legendary member within a year, or less. I have my answer though, so there's really nothing more for me to discuss. Thank you all for your help.

Well I see what he is trying to get out, and I like your point. You said "Recently being freed of my ban makes me just that more inclined to try and get a higher member title", this is why there a ranking system on Bungie.net. Becoming banned should "incline" you from your title, you where banned for a reason, now will you improve on that reason? Getting a new title after getting banned usually shows us/yourself that you've improved, and learned from being banned.

Exactly. I'm hoping that I can change the way I post on this website, so that I don't get banned again, and so that I can actually rank up to Heroic, or Legendary.
