Exactly. I'm hoping that I can change the way I post on this website, so that I don't get banned again, and so that I can actually rank up to Heroic, or Legendary.

Well I see what he is trying to get out, and I like your point. You said "Recently being freed of my ban makes me just that more inclined to try and get a higher member title", this is why there a ranking system on Bungie.net. Becoming banned should "incline" you from your title, you where banned for a reason, now will you improve on that reason? Getting a new title after getting banned usually shows us/yourself that you've improved, and learned from being banned.

Recently being freed of my ban makes me just that more inclined to try and get a higher member title. What you're saying isn't really making sense.

It honestly doesn't matter though. All I wanted to know is if it were possible for anyone to become a Legendary member within a year, or less. I have my answer though, so there's really nothing more for me to discuss. Thank you all for your help.

Wanting a higher title in itself isn't greedy, but the way you keep asking is making it seem that way. Coming off of a recent ban really doesn't put you in much of a position for wanting a higher title.
Posted by: a rascal cat
Wanting a legendary title bar isn't greedy, and I've always posted way more than 30 posts a day. I'm not going to rage if I don't get it within the next year, or anything. I was just wondering if it was even possible.

I say don't try because if you try to hard you'll get baned.

Positive vibes.

If I want to rank up without getting banned, I'm just going to take my time.

Haven't been on here much throughout out the past couple months.

Made a thread in a private group and jumped back to Mythic earlier today.
Who knew?

I think the whole "Ban related prefixes" section is wrong. I've been Honorable pretty much since the ranking system came out, and didn't lose it either of the two times I got blacklisted. I just dropped to Honorable Member, and Honorable Heroic, back to Honorable Legendary. Wondering when Honorable Mythic is coming. I've been here a while..
But anyways, I don't think "Honorable" has anything to do with bans. That, or I'm just a crazy exception.

Well the age of your account is the biggest reason of why you maintained Honorable member. The system is not wrong, but sometimes it gives/maintains users prefixes when they shouldn't get them. But at least you still have a prefix, just keep posting everyday for about a year to get your Mythic title. (That was an estimate)

You seem to have had a history similar to mine. I was Honorable since Heroic and kept it until Mythic, due to bans. If you only have a few bans you might see Mythic soon with high activity.

I think many people forget to actually read the important information found towards the beginning of this thread. Early on Archonos made quite a few posts regarding the title system, of course no definitive answers obviously to the inner workings of the system but useful information non the less. During my 'non-expected vacation from posting' I read through all these old posts and it helped clear up many of my questions. I have been around for awhile and still find it interesting to analyze this system.

I.E. *Posting in groups does count towards trust rating etc.
*Trust is calculated not by ONLY posting
*Quality over quantity system does exist

Thanks to JBSpudster for putting this together awhile back.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Out of curiosity, how did I get Intrepid Heroic back? I was just Intrepid and then I quit for about 2-3 weeks because of college. Now I come back and I'm heroic. o:

Well more than likely it's due to your account age. Your activity was taken into consideration by the Intrepid prefix. Sometimes when you take a break from the site, then return you see your title change.

I took a break for a bit over a year ago, came back and posted a couple times and my Heroic went to Legendary.

Thall.

Intrepid/Fabled prefixes are strictly post related? Or is there some sort of Account age/Ban History requirement?

Well as the Description tells you, Intrepid/Fabled prefixes are strictly post related. (So you can have three bans, and still be to get one of these prefixes)

Yeah. The higher post count you have, the better your chances are of getting Intrepid or Fabled.

And bans do affect. I used to be an Intrepid Member, got banned, lost my title and then after some weeks I got Fabled status.

But then I got banned again and lost it. That happend like 3 or 4 months ago. I should be a Legendary Member right now...

Though the morrow may be barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

Is there any way of telling how close I am to ranking up? My thing says I'm honorable(active for a year) but I'm not Heroic (which I thought also said active for a year?). And is there anything to tell me how active I am?

No, and not really.

There is no way for anyone to know if they are going to rank up soon or if they are active. Though you can use your own judgement on if your active or not.

I've been banned on numerous occasions, but I'm hoping I'll get my Heroic title soon as well. I've already been granted my Fabled title again, so you never know. And I know I probably won't get my legendary title within the next year, but I was wondering if it was possible for someone to get their legendary in just a year after they had joined.

Even though you are Fabled I do not believe it is possible. You should be getting Heroic soon, I would not know why you wouldn't. Unless you already had a few bans.

I had legendary for a short time a little less than a year I was here.

If you don't try hard enough, you will not get a title increase.

We know that posting in groups contributes to our post count for the prefixes, but what happens if a group gets deleted?
