I've gotten a 3 day ban, 7 day ban and some warnings. Is there any chance I will ever get a title?

Yeah

It will just take a little bit longer.

Yep. I've been banned for half a year. NOW LOOK AT ME!
......

Wait.. cant tell if srs.

If you really got a 6 month ban I have to know what you did. lol

I linked a virus. Do not know how that happened, but I got accused of being a 1337 hax0r and got a trip to Banadu.

Though you have been active enough to get Noble, you are far from active enough to get Legendary. Your last 300 posts span about 2 years. To be considered active enough for member titles I would say you should average about 300 posts a month.

My 300 posts a month is not fact, I am just using it so you have something to compare to.

Public PPD really isn't a very good metric for determining overall activity, which is what the titles are based off of. I mean, it would be an ok metric if everyone posted equally and consistently in both groups and in the mains, but hardly anyone does that.

Look at my post history for example. My last 300 public forum posts take place over the past 11 months, and I have been an Exalted Mythic Member for over a year now. That can't be explained with the reasoning that most people use in this thread. I feel that it is much more accurate to say that being consistent with your posting over long periods of time is the rewarding factor, not boosting your PPD.

LOL, real rap is not made for you, white people.

We don't expect you to "get it." And you don't, as you've made abundantly clear through your numerous embarrassing dances, karaoke performances, ignorant haters, and pitiful imitators.

You giving your opinion on rap is like a dog watching TV. It's kind of cute because it LOOKS like he knows what's going on, but you know he really has no actual ability to comprehend it.

Well you've been a member of Bungie.net for about two years now, so that does entitle you to a few title. But with that ban/warning history it will take a few months of posting everyday to get a honorable member. (Could be more, could be less)

There is no exact date into which you will recieve your title.

It could happen at any moment. As said 1,000,001 times, all you can do put yourself in a position for one is to remain a requent poster who remains active, vists the site daily, and doesn't get warned or banned.

I'm seriously considering letting someone post with my account so I don't go inactive for about 4 months.
Damn you, BCT.

Well I've been making a lot of threads lately and I post everyday. My last warning was 11/23 for derailing.

In the last couple days or so I became an exalted member but Ive been here on this account since 2006. Shouldnt I be Exalted Mythic Member at the least? How did I just become an exalted member out of the blue.

I really wish I could remember what my user name was back in like 2004 or something like that.

Don't complain, I came back from a long break of inactivity and I was a Exalted Heroic Member. You need to post more, try to post at least five post a day.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Exalted means you haven't been banned/warned in at least 3 years, and you have to be active for the Mythic.

I've been thinking. For all of the years that I've been a member of Bungie.net, I noticed that most users get ranked up in the beginning of the month. Most likely the ranking system looks at your activity/post over the last past month, and decides if the user should be rank up. Now does anyone else think this system applies for the whole year? (So instead of looking at the last month, the system looks at the whole year)

  • 12.14.2010 5:07 PM PDT

I think that, at the end of each month you receive X amount of trust points for not getting banned and for being active through out that month. This would give you a boost in trust points therefore being promoted is more common at the start of each month. So that would mean people who've been here longer get more trust point boosts therefore the higher tittle. People who have been banned would not recive their boost for X amount of time, taking longer to get their tittle back. Now I've been here for over 2 years and only ever had Honorable (For a day), due to my ban history. I think that I have not received a base tittle because my bans have ruined any sort of trust point boost.

No, unless you are sent a warning from a mod about the thread. That does affect tittles.

Well It's not against the rules, but if the user that is posting on your account gets you banned. (Then don't complain)
