Well if you've been a legendary member for at least a year, then your fighting with another Legendary to gain the mythic title. Achronos most likely has the Mythic cap on, so the only thing you can do is post.
Posted by: OMARRCHR
The OP says that members can gain a mythic title between 2-3 years. If I have already been here for over two years, would the only thing I need to do to gain mythic be to gain the appropriate trust points?
Has there been any confirmation there's still a mythic cap anyhow?

No.. but I bet there is.

Well most likely there still is a mythic cap, because usually when a user looses their mythic title another user gains his mythic title.

I heard someone say once (paraphrasing here) "Multiflag on Blood Gulch with your friends is what makes Halo, Halo." I GUARANTEE that more people agree with that sentiment than "Getting a 50 in MLG is what makes Halo, Halo." - Oboewan42

Would like to see this "census".

Lost to the passages of time...aka the weekly updates or something.

Account says you joined in Oct of '08. Either you aren't as active as required or have been banned/warned at some point(s).

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

No, you have only been here for two years. The reason why you don't have a higher title is because you aren't posting/logging in everyday (there are major gaps in your post history). Be sure to log in everyday, post everyday, and overall be more active.

I'd change your diction from "every day" to "often", but otherwise true.

In the OP it states:

In order to advance in title, you must be active. Here are a few ways:
-Log on every day
-post in groups and threads daily
-create threads
-link XBL Gamertag to Bnet account
-etc.

Note: Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but I'm just stating what was in the OP.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

You can still get Intrepid/Fabled, but you need to post more to qualify for them.

Your posts haven't been "reset". The posts you've made in the past will reappear since you are unbanned. Also, intrepid and fabled require you to make a certain amount of posts in total, so yes, you can still acquire both titles. The catch is that since you've been banned it may take longer for you to get intrepid or fabled.

Okay, how odd is this:

5 minutes ago I was mythic.
I accidently log out.
I log back in and I turn legendary.

Yep. Whenever I go on a rant in some thread in The Flood, I'm usually Heroic for a while. But after a few weeks of a more modest average daily post count, I drop to a normal member. It's happened three times, including once within the last hour.

Stay consistent with that posting then, and it should stable out. It's been shown that a short period of high posting doesn't help you, as you then have to keep that post count at that level.

You must be on the verge of Legendary and Mythic. How lucky!

Is there anyway to loose Legendary besides becoming absent or getting banned/warned?

  • 01.05.2011 8:29 AM PDT

Yes, by getting Mythic.

  • 01.05.2011 8:38 AM PDT

Yes, by being slightly less active, eventually you will drop to Heroic.

Hey guys I am a huge Halo Fan and I am very committed to different Halo areas. Bungie.net is the best! I have this little piece of Halo with me wherever I go. And no, Halo is not actually pie, it just tastes really good.

Hey I am sorry if this has been said already as I am new to the thread, but I have a question. I am an Honorable Member but was banned once for three days and lost that title. I earned it back a few days after my ban was over, but I am wondering how much that ban will slow down my progress to a new title.

Difficult to say, usually a 3 day ban takes about 3 to 4 months to wear off. Also if you have had any other warnings or other bans in the past, that also will slow down your progress in gaining a new title.

Thank you for telling me I was really worried because it is my first and only ban. Thank you for your time. Also how long did it take for you to earn the Inteprid Member title?

A little over two years of constant posting. I only earned it a few months ago.
