Just got exalted. Cant really tell if thats better than noble lol.

Exalted is the highest prefix that you can get (besides absent for some odd reason), so yes, it's higher than noble.

The way its described it just doesn't seem so admirable.

Now I just have to somehow earn the other set of member titles...

Oh I see. Anyway, to earn the other titles, you just have to become more active. This is basically just posting in the forums and logging in everyday.

I've heard that there is a cap on mythics and we're all competeting with each other for a spot. If this is true, it might not happen, but you never know.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Hey OMARRCHR... Check my title bar.

Im pretty sure there is a cap on Mythics. Hence why people are always bouncing between legendary and mythic.

Yeah, there has to be, I have been seeing quite a few members going from Legendary to Mythic then back to Legendary constantly. Im wondering when I will regain Heroic.

Everything done by a single account impacts the account itself, no others. (Unless of course you get banned and try to avoid the ban by using a second account, but that's besides my point.)

So why would other people being a Mythic member effect a completely different account from becoming a Mythic member? It just doesn't make sense that the webteam would do this.

It is an easy assumption to make only because of the elitism that is associated with the Mythic member title. Let's not complicate things people. LOL

Ok, I've been a Heroic Member for some time now. I log on every day and usually make like 15-20 posts a day. If I keep this up, what will I likely be promoted to?

It depends if you have been banned or not. If you stay as active as you currently are, you could gain legendary, but there really is no way of knowing exactly when.

To gain Legendary or Heroic, you need to become more active. Try logging in every day and posting more often, at least 10 to 15 times a day, good quality post. Also if you have had any bans or warnings in your history, it will slow down your progress in earning a new title.

The only ones who know how the title system works is the web team. All the information on the first page of this thread is based on gathered theory.

Hello! I'm Bunie.net's resident medical student (hell i'm sure there are more but I'm the only one who openly declares it!) I love my emblem, and I am periodically active.
I have a Twitter

Then start posting like crazy (however don't spam) and try to obtain Intrepid/Fabled. It might take you a while, but that's the way to go if you want to rank up your prefix from Noble... however you could sit around and wait for another year without a ban/warning...

I think he's saying that you know how to post, because you're a legendary member. :)

Кланяються мені!

Ive been here for 5 years. Hence "Exalted" I also posted in this thread around the time of its creation and have my theories on the system (see OP).

And as recently discussed I too believe that each Title has a cap on the amount that can hold that title. I being here for 5 years but due to my random dissapearances (basic training, AIT, first deployment for example) I wasn't fully active and lost the spot for mythic to more active members. And when I got back the states earlier last summer I was and "absent member" within a week however I was a Noble Legendary Member.

I really do believe there is a cap on the number of promotable titles, just like there are a few trusted as forum ninjas, there are a few trusted as X title.

I had asked a question earlier on how long it would take after being an absent member to get your title back. I'm about to do the whole military jazz, as well. So, I'm assuming in a weeks time I'll get my title back.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Once you start posting, the Absent prefix goes away. Your old prefix should come back right after that, and your title should go up soon after that. Not entirely sure though.

I guess we'll wait and see. After Basics and AIT I'll post in this thread so everyone can see exactly what happens.

Very likely yes, I was a Legendary Memeber before the deployment with 0 posts during the first 6 months, R&R being my first post in awhile I was a Legendary Member by the last days of my vacation (R&R is 2 weeks plus travel [oconus is 2 days])And by staying active somewhat, much more active once I got back the the US I have retained my title. This also happened during training except I was only a heroic member back then (Fall 2008)

Formerly the Queen of Blades.

I play video games. I watch cartoons. I'm going to an art school, SVA (google it if you actually care). I am of the female persuasion. Yes, we do exist on the internet. No, I will not make you a sandwich or any other food. Nor will I do you any favors.

I have a question. I'm not really the posting type, I think I've made maybe 4 actual posts in my whole B.net career, and occasional "oh hey that's cool"-style posts on the discussion pages for the Weekly updates. However, I do sign in with my Windows ID regularly to check out my stats and check out my friend's stats. Will this negatively impact my forum rank over time because I don't really post?
