Well, Honorable is from what I know one year without a ban or warning. Although I seen certain exceptions for some odd reason. But yes, one ban can drastically ruin your chances for an Honorable

Yes, it can.
No matter how short the ban is, there are a huge chances that you could lose your prefix and your title altogether.

No not to an extent, just dont get banned/warned within a years period, and you will get Honorable. It can however slow down your progress in getting a new title (Heroic/Legendary).

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

My titles are sort of contradictory according to this system. Noble is 2 years active with no bans or warnings for a year whilst Heroic is be an active member for 6-12 months.

Active for 6-12 and active for 2 years in the one title?

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Wow. That was weird. I quoted someone, previewed my post, and I had a Heroic title bar. Ha. It still said I was a Fabled Member though....That's weird. :D
I remember I had the ninja title bar in a preview of quoting Daza once. That would have been a neat glitch if it stayed.

You have Noble because you havent had any bans/warnings in a two year period, Heroic because you have been an active poster for longer than six months and obtained a high enough PPD. You can obtain Noble without posting a single post, just as long as you are ban free for that two year period.

The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming.
Burn Bright, Burn Blue.

So if I had Exalted about how long would it take for me to get that back? Another 3 years? By then I'll be an Elder member or whatever.

Exalted Elder would be an awesome title though...

You cannot have 2 prefixes at once. And it wouldn't necessarily take 3 more years to get it back, maybe around a year or two because you have already had it. Just post a lot to boost you your trust points so the title can be returned to you quicker.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

High PPD =/= a new title.

Let see... I've been Legendary for almost six month now...
Just a few more month and then I will be Mythic.

Althought you have been here three years you may have to wait ages, maybe another year to get mythic. I'm coming up to 3 years but theres 2% chance i'll get Mythic on the day. This is mainly as the Mythic Title Bar is capped therefore only a certain amount of the Bungie.net population have it.

My idea: *all i.e. numbers are random
The reason there were so few Mythic Members when the titles bars where first introduced is because there was a small population of Bungie.net Members.
i.e.
Population = 2000
2% of Members = Mythic
Myhtic Members = 100

As the Population increased so did the amount of mythic members.
i.e.
Population = 6000
2% of Members = Mythic
Myhtic Members = 200

The population has increased dramaticly after Halo 3 and Reach therefore mthyic Members have shot up.
This is my explanation for the ammount of Mythic Members.
The cap is to stop so many Members being Mythic, if there was no cap then 50% of Legendary members would probably qualify for Mythic.

Even though the numbers may not be accurate you got the idea perfect. Bungie sets the number cap and possibly raises and lowers the "trust points" required over time.

The same principle can probably be applied to Legendary and Heroic too, just larger percentages.

Yeah. I expect 60% - 75% to be just 'Members'.

I think there could even be caps on all of the "higher" titles, though they may be a lot less noticeable then the Mythic Cap. I think you hit it spot on with your idea. The cap is more likely a percent as opposed to a solid member. That's why we see more Mythic members as time goes on. I think there might also be a cap on Heroic and Legendary, all be it a much larger cap to prevent the possibility of everyone becoming Heroic or Legendary. Not that that will ever happen, but still.

Yeah. I lost my Honorable for getting a warning. Then my Heroic for "spam."

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

I think we are starting to see more Mythic members simply because there are more people sticking around the site. Many Mythics now are from Halo 1 or earlier. Halo 3 brought in a lot of new members, as did Reach. Halo 3 is over 3 years old, factor in some bans on now Legendary accounts and you'll see these accounts soon get to Mythic.

I don't know why so many people believe there is a 'cap'. Bungie won't discredit any assumptions, or anything correct either in this thread.

You are in control of your own destiny. Good things happen to good people. Be good for long enough and you'll be Mythic on the site regardless of what anyone else is doing.

Mmk, I lost intrepid a few days ago and I have no idea why. My post count didn't droup very much if any. I wasn't banned or warned. The only thing I can thunk of is I did some "group cleaning" the day before I lost it. I guess leaving groups affects titles.

Perhaps the posts you make in a group don't count after you leave it? Try rejoining a few of the groups you posted most in and see what happens.

Strange, I have never seen anyone loose Intrepid/Fabled for no reason, I know you can loose it temporarly if you are banned or warned. Thats weird.

Did you take a short vacation from B.net? I am almost positive inactivity can cause a loose of a prefix.
