Congratulations on going two years with no bans or warnings! I wish I could say that I can go that long without ban!

I think you'd need more than a wish.
I've had my Noble for a year now.

Hmm...that's odd...If you have gone three years without any bans or warnings, shouldn't you be Exalted? :)

No, i've had two warnings, but then some Members have got exalted with Warnings in their 3 years so.. we'll see.

  • 01.12.2011 7:57 AM PDT

i can only count to jagermeister.

I got noble about a few months ago. Since then, I have gone all the way to exalted heroic... I've never been warned/banned, and I haven't changed any of my posting habits/activity stuff. I don't understand why it took so long for me to get a title at all. Then all of a sudden I get exalted heroic... I confused.

Hmm, your PPD is 0.55 so I can see why it took a while. If you increased the amount you posted you could make Legendary pretty quick.

Is there a set day for promotions? Someone told me it was the first of every month, and because I'm going on 6 months, I'm getting pretty excited for February.

I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

There is no set day for promotions. People get promoted/demoted every day. Though, it is a widely believed theory that some users gain a lot of trust posts at the beginning of each month.

Agreed. The more active you are, and the more steady your PPD is, the more likely you are to rank up. :)

Hey guys I am a huge Halo Fan and I am very committed to different Halo areas. Bungie.net is the best! I have this little piece of Halo with me wherever I go. And no, Halo is not actually pie, it just tastes really good.

I wonder if Bungie has plans for new titles? I don't know what they would be but maybe something for having a perfect record with at least 5 posts a day for 5 years? You know, something hard to get, just like recon in Halo 3. What do guys think about this?

Hmm, I am not really keen on new Base Titles.
However adding a few new Prefixes can't hurt.

Yes I guess I could have been more specific I actually meant Base Titles and/or Prefixes. Thank you for pointing this out.

No, he was saying that having a high PPD, and keeping your PPD steady, is the best way to rank up. Posting every once in a while in large bursts is not an efficient way to rank up.
Rascal, I'm sure you know this by now, but don't let posts like this discourage you from posting.

From the OP:

In order to advance in title, you must be active. Here are a few ways:
-Log on every day
-post in groups and threads daily
-create threads
-link XBL Gamertag to Bnet account
-etc.

How to be active has already been stated in the OP. All you guys are doing is repeating it in different words over and over and over again. Every day this thread is posted in by retards who don't know how to read Duardo's -blam!- post and end up -blam!-posting this thread to hell.

I don't mind if it's a new member asking a question, but when it's Legendary members and members who have posted in this thread a billion times already like a rascal cat asking questions they already clearly know the answer to or could user their own logic to work it out it's spamming the thread.

I really do hope that posts like that do discourage him from posting because he really does need to stop posting.

If someone has a question, he should have the right to answer it without being shot down. All he did was answer the question as friendly as he could, and you give a response like that. I know this thread repeats itself, it's been like that for years now, and always will be. Sure, it's annoying to see the same stuff over and over again, but if you hate it so much don't come to this thread anymore. It's as easy as that.

The point of this thread is to discuss member titles and ask questions about them. That's exactly what everyone is doing; nothing wrong was done, besides the pointless conversation you and I are having.

If you're going to reply, please do it via PM.

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

We know group activity has to help with titles, but do group promotions? What I mean is like admin positions in a group.

Now selling HHDDVVDDBVDs. HD DVDs, but with better marketing.

How short lived my Honorable Heroic was...

Anybody else have a title for a week? Also, I wasn't banned, warned or anything. 'Tis a slightly less happy day.

This is something I woould like to know as well. Also would promotions inside a group affect your profile as far as activity and trust rating goes?

That is too bad I believe that one of two things happened.

1.Your daily post count dropped and thus you had less activity.
2.Someone increased their activity and perhaps took your title. This would only work if there is a limit on the number of members that can have each title, a limit that I believe in.

Edit: Sorry for double posting. I didn't realize my posts were right together.
