I dunno when I'll get to Honorable again, I've been banned twice.

Don't get banned/warned for a year from your previous ban and you could regain Honorable.

I'd like to know why after I was unpermabanned I received the Honorable title. I'm not complaining or anything I just want to know how it happened.

Hmm, that is a good question. I have never seen that happen before after a Perma Ban that was lifted.

It's like a gigantic snowball, rolling down a mountain, eating kids on the way.

Possibly with the reverse of the permaban, comes some of your old trust points?

I expect so.

Makes you wonder if the same applies with the reduction of 7 day bans and alike.

Hey I was wondering something about the bungie.net ranking system. It says that you have to be active for 6 - 12 months in order to obtain the heroic title. I've been active for a little over six months and post frequently, so I was wondering what exactly Bungie uses to determine how long members have to wait in between the 6 - 12 month period. I'm not getting impacient and I'm not mad, but I am a little curious about the waiting period and the criteria it is based on.

You have 20 posts in total and you made your first post a week ago. That's not active at all, unless you post a lot in private groups?

Yeah, most of my posts are in groups. I occasionally leave a group, but only if it is inactive or close to becoming inactive. But aside from those groups I post quite a bit in the rest that I'm in.

You need a lot more posts in the main forums to gain Heroic i'm afraid.

Hey guys I am a huge Halo Fan and I am very committed to different Halo areas. Bungie.net is the best! I have this little piece of Halo with me wherever I go. And no, Halo is not actually pie, it just tastes really good.

He does not need to post in public forums at all. We have seen people earn Mythic just by posting in private forums. He should gain Heroic between 1-4 months, but this is just a guess.

Account age seems to trump activity to a certain extent. If he has a new account he will have to be very active before getting heroic. 1-4 months of 10 - 15 posts per day might do it. It took me 6 months but my account had already been around for 2 years.

I think it would take longer than 1 - 4 months.
I would say half a year maybe a year.

Yes like I said it was just a guess I simply meant that public forums are not necessary for ranks to be earned.

I like my logic. It's much better than yours

1. Honorable - No bans/warnings in about 1 year. If banned/warned, you may or may not keep the title, depending on length/number of bans. Source

So I am this Eh, cool.

New Zealand is pretty much the best place in the world.

Shouldn't I be Heroic or Legendary, or does noble replace that?

Sorry

EDIT: also do warning and bans apply to in game as well as forums or just on forums, Thanks

You need to be very active. Your recent posts shows only two pages going back to the first time you posted. Also, bans on the forums only apply to the forums as well as bans in game only apply to the game *Reach, Halo3, etc*.

Loves computers, video games, and Final Boss 000!

Likes - polite/respectful private messages

Dislikes- Attention whores -_-;

^.^

So just out of curiosity does anyone know specifically the order of the ranks?

I've seen like Member, Intrepid legendary member, I just go exalted heroic member today I guess O.o, but yeah anyone know least a generic idea of how the order goes? I've been trying to figure that one out.

(Also I sort of understand first post of this thread but just some clarification be nice ^^ )

  • 01.30.2011 4:44 PM PDT

Yeah, first post in this thread show them in order, the bottom one will overlap the top one. So Exalted > Fabled.
