Well you only post about a post a day, so if you really want a new title you need to star posting a lot more. (But don't spam, and it's up to you to get a new title bar I can't tell you when)

I was last banned September. I just started to be active again. How soon till I get a bar color?

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

How long was the ban? And you need to be much more active, for a long while to get a bar color.

It depends on how long the Ban was and your Ban history. Usually it takes 4 to 5 months to recover from a small Ban. My only Ban was a 3 day back in early September and I have yet to regain Heroic, it just really depends on your history I guess.

Yup, a 14 day ban will take a while for you to recover from.

It will take me a long time probably to gain a title. It was a 14 day ban for posting in a troll thread. :/

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

I was thinking the prefixes actually worked in tiers. For example, a level one tier would be like Honorable, Intrepid, or Veteran. Then tier two would be Noble, Fabled, or Senior. And lastly tier three would be Exalted and Elder. Then the priority of the prefixes on page one would come into play.

The reason I bring this up, is because after my ban, I shouldn't have received Honorable for a year. Yet I received it immediately after my ban was up. Tomorrow will be my one year mark from the ban lifting, and if I get Noble, this will give a bit more weight to my theory.

I heard someone say once (paraphrasing here) "Multiflag on Blood Gulch with your friends is what makes Halo, Halo." I GUARANTEE that more people agree with that sentiment than "Getting a 50 in MLG is what makes Halo, Halo." - Oboewan42

I don't follow how that justifies your theory at all, which is absolutely proven wrong.

For the record, I would tap that like like it was put-put golf. Like a college student opening a beer keg. Like a phone in the cold war. Like an oil company in a nature reserve. Like a goddamn telegraph.

Seriously though, I'm fine with experimenting

I'm intrepid now, post count of 9000. I think it's based on activity and post count.

Probably one's posts per day combined with account age. Perhaps some kind of ratio of the two?

I breathe BR, not kidding homie.

why isnt this locked yet rofl? you have the faq, i ever rmbr duardo posting in here earlier saying tom t 117 was rite, just full of spam now, id think if anyone ever had a question about the title youd just see the faq, dont know why the reply is still open, faq really covers it all, shouldnt have much more discussion on it

^imo idc, but just wondering, cause mods usually lock stuff like this once it gets to this position

Well, it really doesn't do any harm, and it's a place for people to be happy about their rank ups and speculate on the way the system works.

^ye, but other big threads like this really dont do harm, but do get locked, i.e alternate legendary endings in the reach forum got locked, and there was still some valid speculation goin on there

That thread was locked due to the amount of flaming, spam and bumping. Besides, you can also speculate on how the title system works and assist people with questions about it here.

I have never seen that post and I am now inclined to agree with you, though I wasn't too solid on the first part of my argument anyways...

Come on, it's 300 pages back, you think I read the whole thread?

It is literally the second link/sentence in the OP.

Positive vibes.

Yes, and I believe that you receive whatever title you had when you left, no matter what it was.

I could be wrong about that, so don't take my word for it. :)

How do you know its 9000? Or was that a joke?

  • 02.09.2011 5:08 AM PDT

To be considered a active member does that mean logging in frequently or posting often?

It's a combination of both. The frequency of how much you do both, is how we think the system figures activity.
