"wonderful" is an adjective, not an adverb, and "fell" is the past tense, so you can't say "i fell wonderful now"; you mean "i fall wonderfully now"/"now I fall wonderfully" in case you want a word order that doesn't make you sound like a robot

or perhaps even "i then fell wonderfully" if you did mean "fell".

I am confused now.

Oh shoot did i say that right?

So for all my time on Bungie.net, and all my activity and help, and I'm only an Honorable Heroic Member? I lost my Legendary status for that :-(

Lol, Reiginko...

It's DA GRAMMAR POLICE! Anyway... Obviously he didn't mean "fell", but "feel". You knew that aleready, of course... Heh...

Remember: Never two punction marks, nor four! Only one or three! Very important!

you do realise that heroic member is the second lowest rank and basically means nothing right?

Ouch.

I'm surprising no one has started any elitist groups because of these prefixes. Thank God.

GOAT

1. Absent
2. Veteran
3. Honorable
4. Senior
5. Noble
6. Elder
7. Intrepid
8. Fabled
9. Exalted

Now do all of these go for every member title?
As in "Fabled Heroic Member"
Or "Intrepid Member"?
Also, is rank skipping normal? I went from member to "Honorable Heroic Member" in less than an hour.

So now I'm a beta tester. Let's see where this goes.

Every one of those that I have been invited to the creator's title dropped within a week. So therefore they could no longer be part of the group that they made. Ha. Posted by: Turaga008

I don't think you can get a prefix title if your gamertag isn't linked. Right?

Taxes do nothing to affect the share of wealth, since taxes are only applied to income.

So that's not even a part of the conversation at all, so it's pointless talking about it....

"for a "best" moral to exist, there must exist the "best" moral base. If the base of morality varies from location to location, culture to culture...then there can't be an absolute moral..

your titles and prefix (i suppose) will come back to you fairly soon. i was punished about 4 times in 4 weeks, and i went down to having member status. some months later, i was legendary, and then mythic in no time. it seems that once enough time went by, my bans were no longer affecting my title status. but, the prefixes seem tied to specific 'virtues', and i do not think that our punishments get wiped away clean when it comes to them.

this is all nearly blind conjecture on my part. all that i guess with any confidence is that there are 3 major inputs (account length, account activity, punishment history) and that post quality cannot be a factor (we have been told that the system is automated).

simply having an a relatively old account, making posts that with some regularity, and not getting banned are all that are needed to get a niftier title.

Quoted for Truth.

i was banned recently, so my account age and frequent posting seem to have absolutely no meaning now.

  • 11.23.2008 7:21 PM PDT

Does anyone even read these?

Well as much as I try not to get banned I still always seem to do. Which is why I'm probably never getting off my member status.

I recall a few people, Daurdo included, that unlinked their gamertag and went down in member status. However this could have been a bug, and nontheless, I doubt that linking your gamertag will increase your status.

See I have had that same theory too. I've seen people that don't have active accounts linked that post regularly with just member status or heroic and I never see them get banned as far as I can see. It seems that every Legendary and higher has an active and linked gamertag. I would also note that when I play Halo regularly, I usually go back to Legendary for a short while. Though that is probably more of a coincidence, I do take note of it.

  • 11.24.2008 10:29 AM PDT

Here's a wrench in some people's theories: I was just checking out the profile of a new member in one of the groups I belong to. They have been on Bungie.net since late '04, have not posted on any of the public forums since July of '06. This person is an Exalted Heroic Member. So frequency of posting doesn't matter? Or has the system just missed this person? What about posting in group forums? Does that have an effect on your status?

Well, considering exalted is a ban-based title, and an '04 account, so long as it's logged into with any regularity, should easily get some sort of title, that actually seems quite plausible.
