Just about every thing I post is my opinion and nothing more. Be subjective. Respect other's opinions. Try to understand other's point of view.

notnoob has given us even more evidence to support the claim that member titles are in no way connected to posting quality. that a person who has earned a reputation of hashing out the same arguments over and over and over again can 'earn' a fancy title (hee hee) while a member like notnoob who has been here for ages and who has not been banned has not seems rather odd.
my guess is that notnooborelite has not received a mythic title because of not meeting the posting requirements. i suspect that posting with regularity would lead to him getting a blue bar in less than two months. but, that is just wild speculation. when i think of guys whom i think should have a blue bar, guys who have made solid posts for years and who do not cause trouble, i think of a small handful of guys, and notnooborelite is one of them.

I started looking in to the different theories of what constitutes titles. I also looked at several other Mythic members I know. Two really stuck out in my head and no, I will not name them. One of them is known for derailing threads with long, one-sided arguments and repeating them over and over again. He's been banned and warned quite a few times. He's a Mythic. Thanks Ses but let me just reiterate. I am not asking for a Mythic nor do I believe I am owed one. I do believe the system is equal for everyone and that's all that can be asked. Actually, since we do not pay to be here we can ask for any thing but should expect nothing.
I'm just pointing out that the argument of "titles mean nothing" isn't sound. It's as flawed as the thinking that if you are good at Halo your input should mean more. Yes, on a theoretical level they shouldn't, but in reality they do, especially to the members who have been here a while and actually try to have good conversations here. I watched countless mythics in groups complain when they lost their mythic. Many of them said "This is just another example of how this site is screwed up." Some of them said "I'm taking a break from B.net for a while" hence quitting. As soon as they regained their mythic title they were back to posting happily again.
And by the way, I have not always been what I would call a good member. I remember when Shishka was a mod and I would, well let's just say disagree with him. 8) I actually had "Shishka please don't ban me" in my sig at one time.
