I don't know if anyone's noticed but there's this guy over on the Halo 3 forums who is an Honorable Legendary member, but the stuff he writes is just insanely good. Is there any way to recommend him to a mod or something? He deserves to be Mythic by my watch.

Interesting changes. I like the multi-layered scheme of titles now.

Yes, the new Multiple layered Titles are very good. I like that we have a new change. It show's the community who the respected members are.

Taxes do nothing to affect the share of wealth, since taxes are only applied to income.

So that's not even a part of the conversation at all, so it's pointless talking about it....

"for a "best" moral to exist, there must exist the "best" moral base. If the base of morality varies from location to location, culture to culture...then there can't be an absolute moral..

i do not think that the new fancy titles indicate those who are respected, but i do think that they indicate which members have had accounts for a long time, have posted with regularity, and who have been punished relatively few times.

since the titles are in no way tied to the quality of a member's post, let alone the quality of all of a member's posts, i see no reason to think that they are associated with respect in a meaningful sense.

True, but it's as close as you can get with an automated system that can't "understand" post content

Yeah, in theory, you could achieve mythic just by posting links to I'm Blue whenever it's even slightly relevant. Not that anyone would ever do anything that silly.

Ridiculously amazing song.

You just won about 300 points for that post. Seriously, unreal.

I'm still pissed that I haven't gotten my Heroic back, it would of been nice if Bungie at least told me why it was stripped in the first place.

Ahhhh....finally....I kind of understand what the heck these titles mean! lol.

The Grey bar looks awesome. I don't know, I would think after a year of good activity I would at least have a prefix but I don't know anymore.

what counts as a good year?

does posting in bnet forums for a year while not being punished for violating the rules count as a good year?

if so, what kind of titles and colors do you think would be most appropriate to indicate such an accomplishment?

hawk, if you, or anyone else, really wants to earn a particular blend of colors and titles, then keep posting while following the rules. since there were hundreds of thousands of others who have done exactly as you have done, and since there are hundreds of thousands of others who have done the same but for longer than one year, others are ahead of you in the line to get the bnet bells and whistles.

to think of things in a positive light, the post that you just made will help you earn a title other than member.

People that have high B.Net names are people that are loyal fans and respect Bungie. I am very active here because it's so intresting to know about thought and ideas that come from Halo fans. I'm going to be their loyal fan forever. I respect each forum ninja and moderator, But mostly the Employee of Bungie. the title given to you, is what you deserve. it really counts if you believe in what you say.

No, I could care less, nor do I think I need an accomplishment for behaving on an internet forum. All I have done(in this thread) is prove that a linked gamertag does in fact help your title. Titles don't change how I post and voice my opinion, and normally people judge you by the content of your posts not your title(I would hope) so I could care less to what it becomes in time.

In the future I will continue to be active here, and follow the rules but for a "different blend of colors"? No, I do it because I love this community, and is one of the very few internet forums I visit and like.
