Hey, since everybody is getting Recon armor next year, why not give a special rank on Bungie.net to those who have it now? I think that's a good way for them to be remembered as the original Recon owners. Who agrees?

They've been over this. The Bungie staff, (at least Achronos and Shishka), don't believe those who have Recon now deserve special treatment, as many received it for reaching a certain criteria in the Valentines day playlist, or even beat them at doubles at PAX. It's not that big of a deal to them.

This is the flood. We have the collective IQ of 67, barely above downs syndrome. Trying to find good and honest deep thoughts here is like trying to find an angler fish in the shallows of Lake Dumbass.

Why did you guys call it Forum ninja?Either way the notion is probably laughable.

Well, they aren't pirates, right? So they must be ninjas! :)

Master Forum Ninja - Highest possible title given out to a member. Have a few more "powers" than a regular Forum Ninja, but that's not to be discussed. Ever.
I figure that the "not to be discussed" thing is a jest, but is it really top secret? I've seen a Master Forum Ninja say in an what the Master Ninja powers are in an interview, so maybe you should include them. But I won't post them here, just in case they really are top secret and this particular mod accidentally let the cat out of the bag. :-]

If you're really curious about the differences between a Forum Ninja and a Master Forum Ninja, just go to bungiepedia. Bungiepedia knows all about the innards of Bungie...

Hmm... If my theory is correct, my prefix will change to "Noble" tomorrow. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, but I'm pretty confident that it will.

Ok, whats your theory?

  • 01.02.2009 8:48 PM PDT

It must change to noble when you have been here for two years, since I'm seeing that his prefix is "Noble."

Its related to Ban history. Not how long you've been here.

Yes, but look at the date he joined. I'm assuming that's what his theory is.
But you're right, I just re-read the first post. So, I'm assuming that he's never been banned in the two years he's been here. My two year anniversary with this profile is coming up next month, and I've never been banned, so we will see what happens.

i was a heroic member for a while, but it went away after i was offline for a month. did the time away cancel it out, or was it something bad i did prior to my absence that cost me my heroicness?

It was the time away. I was down in Mexico for a week when I was Legendary. I was using an internet cafe and found that I was a Heroic. Don't sweat it! :D

~B.B.

I have been paying close attention to certain posting titles lately and I have seen a pattern, am I correct? Maybe, it's just something I have noticed.

Fabled Members- I have seen these members posting actively many, many times a day in the main forums. A perfect example of this is Cortana 5, I actually see her in most threads here in the community forum, daily.

Intrepid Members- Active members who have a lot to share, while they aren't as active as Fabled Members, they are still active daily on the forums, and they have a lot to share in their posts.

Might as well share my observations.
