I have looked at some of your posts. You seem to be going more for quantity. Most of my posts that I type up are almost always thought through. And from the time span I'm seeing between your posts. I don't think you give more than 15 seconds into typing up your one to two sentence "masterpiece".

Quality > Quantity

Sometimes 2 sentences can have plenty of quality and can answer a person's question. Sure, quality is of course way better than quanity. But quanity will ALWAYS stand over quality.

*Quanity > Quality*
You do realize you contradicted yourself right? That's what happens when you don't read over your post before hitting "submit".

Perhaps? But that is why we have an editing button.

Ouch. You lost your Honorable, Eh? Next year, just stay away from the "you know what" threads...

Do you even think before you post? You just completely contradicted yourself

Not sure I quite understand you there blade, your post was a little contradictory.

Quality has always been the intended preference for most users here on Bungie.net and out in the real world- and many people would rather respond to quality and rationally thought out posts, rather than broad, irrationally thought out ones with poor syntax.

If you are inferring about the titles of Fabled and Intrepid, however, and users who grasp to reach out for them, then I guess they abide by what you posted. But, thankfully this is the minority- and the idea of quantity standing over quality is a poor way to think.

A quality post will always prevail over one which relies solely on a wall of gibberish.

This system is funky. My title got dropped to Heroic nearly a week after a warning, then back up to Legendary about a week later, and now down to Heroic without having a warning/ban. This is just weird lol.

Because Noble doesn't mean active. You can only post once, sign in every two months, and get Noble. Your post history goes back to over a year ago.
Posted by: halopwner75
If your a noble member doesn't that mean your a legendary member also? Because noble is active member for 2 years, no bans/warnings for 1 year. And legendary is consistently active for 1- 2 years. So why am I not a legendary member?

Old enough accounts are Heroic with no posts now.
Then explain me.

My post history goes back only 5 months, and I'm on everyday. Old accounts don't get anything unless they post on a somewhat-consistent basis. Whether it be on the mains, or in a private group.

I'm talking about one's that are Exalted from about 2006, but are active daily because they play Halo.

What are you talking about? Playing Halo has nothing to do with titles here on the site...

Alright, I'll be that guy. Couldn't it? After all, if you have a linked gamertag it tracks when you last played, so it could have an effect. I do believe simply linking your gamertag helps, so maybe playing Halo on that gamertag also helps.

Just a though.

I think he is saying that, in terms of gaining new titles/prefixes (intrepid or fabled) the quantity of your posts will have a larger influence than the quality. As far as I know, the quality is not measured (nor can I see any accurate way it could be) so he is correct in a way.

Your posts still have to remain within the boundaries of the rules, however, or else you will be warned or banned which does have an impact on your titles. Therefore I believe that the quality of one's posts are more important than the quantity.

I've been banned a decent amount of times on this account, I was really surprised the other day when I found out I was Fabled.

HACK THE PLANET!

I finally got Fabled. I think I got Intrepid around this time last year, or a little earlier.

GJ. but you'll need to update your coup as it still says Intrepid lol.

Also, after about 4 weeks of constant activity i'm slowly regaining my old rank after i got a warning.

Bans don't do anything for ranks that require a post number. And if they do it's a very very small impact.

I got rid of my coup a long time ago...and I don't care enough to reinstall it just to update coup.

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

Posted by: Kretos

What I mean is that there are people with accounts on Bungie.net who have the Heroic title with 0 posts, simply from playing Halo and occasionally checking Bungie.net.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

It's only after a lot of bans/warnings that it would go away. They definitely should not affect titles about account age though (Veteran, Senior, Elder).
Posted by: sukmybalz2x
'Dis be some jankiness. Bans/warnings shouldn't affect Intrepid or Fabled.
