Any idea approximately how long it would take to rank up with constant posting?

For the most part, one's title and title bar seems to be more dependant on how long they have been a member rather than how often they post.

What do you mean, "only"?

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

I've been here four years and had two small stints as a Mythic member, received a warning form Duardo and lost my Exalted status. Essentially, they are just titles and shouldn't be worried about too much. I just enjoy my time here.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

The only reason I want Mythic member is because I like the blue title bar... That's it.

The bar? Meh. The title? Booooring. The reason you want it is to be in the Mythic Members group so you can listen to Qbix talk about Tits and people -blam!-ing (begins with B although I'm sure the F happens too), constantly, obviously. Although it can be fun ;-)

Being Mythic isn't that special, it's a bit like "Wow WTF I'm Mythic, awesome" then 5 minutes later (unless you're Skibur) you really don't care and want a purple bar instead.

Perhaps... Though I honestly didn't know about a Mythic Members group. And I honestly do want it for the color... That's my sole motivation for being a good member, and staying active.

Well don't just focus on a bar or you'll only get disappointed and paranoid about getting banned. If you remain active you should get the title next year if you care that much. My suggestion though is don't worry about a bar that honestly means nothing.

There are a lot of things that factor in... Like, if you've had threads locked a lot, stuff like that. I think.
If you haven't done anything for months, then you'll probably get Heroic in a month or two...

Locked threads, at least from my observations, have no effect on a member's title. If they did, I don't think that would be really fair since it's not always the OP's fault if the thread that they started gets locked.

Join date, bans, posting activity, and maybe the amount of times a user signs on to Bungie.net are the only factors that I've witnessed to have an effect on one's title. However, I wouldn't take these titles to heart. Thy only have meaning if you give them one.

I think the length of your ban (if any) affects how you rank up too. The longer the ban, the harder it will be to rank up within a set time (dependant on the length again). Could be weeks or months. For instance, my last ban was in december, and ive been clean since, posting regularly, sticking to the rules, and im still a member.

I would say if your relatively active post a reasonable amount of times a day you should be on your way.

From what I've seen, the Veteran prefix is granted to members who have been here for 4 years with a minor ban history.

I still don't understand the whole title fluxation deal. I'll be legendary for a while then my title drops, then goes back after a day or two. Can anyone shed more light as to why this happens? I can't seem to find the answer for some reason.

That only happen when Achronos tweaks the system of ranking. I usually get Legendary member statue after while, but then when Achronos finish, I went back to Heroic member statue.
Shift happen, bud.
