People sometimes retain Honorable after bans. It depends on the length/previous history.I never had it before to retain.
Because you had not been here long enough to qualify for it anyway, so you didn't know that the ban had not been damaging at all....
If a ban is not damaging at all to an account that isn't a year old yet, and I hadn't even logged into BNet until a month after my ban (checked to see if I had any title change on my one year with Bungie.me), then there would be no point in receiving it in the first place.
It would be true if I had been here a year already and had the Honorable title, not under the circumstances I am in.
Allow me to restate my above comment, as you are correct, the ban was not "null". What I mean to say is that when you were banned, the ban did not lower your trust rating enough to preclude you from getting the Honorable title. Your trust rating was as high as a member who had received no bans in the past year, and thus gave you Honorable once your account turned 1. Yes, this ban will slow your progress to other titles. Yes, bans usually remove Honorable, you were lucky, however, this has happened before.
