Just hit Mythic! Bungie, you're next game better be another Halo: CE so I can be cool on the forums. Otherwise my interest will stray elsewhere again. :/
Congratulations, and 343 industry is remaking Halo: Combat Evolve Anniversary.

I meant "another Halo: CE" in a symbolic sense. As in they need to take a rather lackluster genre (First person shooters before 2001) and turn it into one of the most popular genres in the gaming community.

However, I'm convinced that first person shooters are limited by nature. The way the game is initially set up makes any type of strategy beyond positioning very difficult to implement without detracting from player experience.

I will say this right now, if Bungie ventures into the MOBA environment I will be all over these forums night and day.

To be honest, I didn't really think that Bungie would made such a epic game. However, after they showed the demo reel of Halo: Reach, this just proved of what Bungie is capable of, and how they will provide us with a great and extraordinary experience you would received when you grab your controller and play their new epic endless game.

I hope that they will continue to pursuit their dream and designing their own genre of games. As well drawing community to this fabulous website where we can communicate with the Maker and the players.

I have the Honorable title, yet I'm barely a year old, and my last ban was July of this year (2011). Anyone care to explain?

Minor bans sometimes allow you to retain the title, and you've been here long enough.
He didn't even have it when he was banned.

Because his account wasn't a year old yet. The ban basically didn't do enough damage to disqualify him from that title, he just had not met the requirement of being here for a year yet.

Oh hey, I don't know why you're reading this, but have fun.

Any ban sets the timer over, especially when I wasn't even a year old when I got the ban, but a few days after my one year I got Honorable.

People sometimes retain Honorable after bans. It depends on the length/previous history.

Time to go on a posting spree!

The last time I was banned was over a year ago (7 day ban starting 8/24/2010), and yet I'm a member.
:(

You need to post more.

Because you had not been here long enough to qualify for it anyway, so you didn't know that the ban had not been damaging at all.

...
If a ban is not damaging at all to an account that isn't a year old yet, and I hadn't even logged into BNet until a month after my ban (checked to see if I had any title change on my one year with Bungie.me), then there would be no point in receiving it in the first place.

It would be true if I had been here a year already and had the Honorable title, not under the circumstances I am in.

Allow me to restate my above comment, as you are correct, the ban was not "null". What I mean to say is that when you were banned, the ban did not lower your trust rating enough to preclude you from getting the Honorable title. Your trust rating was as high as a member who had received no bans in the past year, and thus gave you Honorable once your account turned 1. Yes, this ban will slow your progress to other titles. Yes, bans usually remove Honorable, you were lucky, however, this has happened before.

Back to Mythic for the 7th time? I'm guessing that 3 day ban from 5 months ago is no longer holding me back.

I want heroic

  • 10.04.2011 1:30 PM PDT

This is my signature nub.

Earlier today I was a heroic member, now I'm not anymore and I didn't get a warning. Anyone know why?

  • 10.04.2011 2:26 PM PDT

Half Man.
Half Horse.
Half Machine.
All "Jerk Who's Really Bad at Math."

PS
No, I do not want to join your clan/group.

Your activity is borderline, I guess; you're not quite active enough to sustain a Heroic title but you're not too far from it.

Lucky. How many bans have you had? I seriously think I'm stuck without a base title forever now seeing as it's been about 5 months since I got banned and it's only my second.

Don't worry, it takes forever, I was no title for ages, Heroic for a while, then suddenly Legend, perhaps it quickens once you start getting them agian?

Hopefully. My 3rd birthday is coming up, and I got banned around May due to the ban "building up".

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Looks like my ban has been fully lifted, and i'm back to my old title.

If I've already achieved the time requirements for being a Mythic member, would that mean that I would have to gain the trust points by posting in order to get it?

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

I believe that would only further slow down the passage of time towards his Mythic. <_<
